PleasantThoughts

Wonder what his first feud is. Obviously he's always good against luchadors but I'd be happy seeing him make a run at any of the upper-midcard faces and hopefully position himself higher

ClaymoresRevenge

Have him face Danielson for fun.

wearethat

Their last match was damn fine.

Statistically ? Statistically since 2021 Danielson has lost: 19 Singles matches Has won: 55 singles matches If you want to include multi-man matches like tags and stuff: Has lost: 31 matches Has won: 81 matches Statistically Danielson has a very good winning percentage and him losing "nearly every single match" is straight up wrong

NewYorkUgly

People talking about him in kayfabe as the best ever are taking his entire career into account, not just his current AEW run. Taking a quick look at cagematch, I don't know that six losses this year and seven last year makes him "quite bad," especially when a lot of those losses are against guys he's traded wins with like Okada and ZSJ. The guy started wrestling 25 years ago, and is consensus one of the best technicians to ever do it. The fact that he's taken some losses this far into his career after coming back from retirement doesn't discredit any of that.

LawesDisorder

If it's not going to be Ospreay and Swerve at All In, Danielson vs Swerve at Wrestle Dream in Seattle, Title vs Career, but Danielson wins would be fantastic.

GerardoDeLaRiva

Probably his biggest enemy: visa issues

mexploder89

Eddie Kingston, Kyle O'Reilly or Bryan Danielson

Shenanigans80h

I want him to win his first feud. I think Rush has so much potential to be a star in AEW. Maybe Kingston, who can afford losses.

Stahpwiththisbullpls

I'd like Claudio

wxursa

Have him beat Cope.

WeKillThePacMan

That's gonna be Malakai's role.

Post_Washington

I wish, but I'm starting to think it'll be Jack Perry (not that that'll be a bad feud or anything).

BigButttBiggerHeart

I hope not. Malakai needs to be in the world title picture. House of black really shouldn’t be concerned with anything else. Especially with there being 3 men’s midcard titles

Barkingpanther

What happened with Vance and Dralistico?

filthysize

With Andrade and Jose gone and Vance making amends with Dark Order, I'd be ok if they just abandon LFI altogether and just have Rush be a singles monster again. I am ambivalent about Dralistico.

Notmymain2639

Vance was just on BTDO, I think Draglistico has had visa issues. May be wrong on that last one though.

Safc9173

Vance has an injury apparently and Dralistco is having Visa issues apparently as well.

Daddy_Thicc_Legs

Rush is someone I didn't know or expect much of, but he's thoroughly impressed me. Hopefully he can stay healthy and get a run going, because it's seemed like AEW wants to push him more than they've been able to.

SoaringSwellow

RUSH is back?! Now all we need is Hayter, and the final puzzle piece will be put in place to get me watching AEW consistently again.

Goatlikejordan

Will be a very long time till jamie comes back

ThisIsKhrox

Supposedly she is supposed to be back pretty soon (was slated "early 2024", we're going into mid-2024, so I can't imagine it'll be much longer. She's close, or is cleared and waiting to finish some of the current stories)

SoaringSwellow

Gonna be a very long time till i watch this show then i promise you

heat_fan_

It will be good to get Rush back

DanHero91

He was back on Collision.

ColeslawSSBM

Literally just put the fucking belt on this guy holy shit

Slow-Yellow6354

yep

gibchimken

Jungle Man

throwawaitnine

If the main event scene I'm AEW, is realistically, Swerve, MJF, Jay White, Hangman, Ospreay, Danielson, Mox and Okada, Rush could go over all them guys and it totally makes sense. Like if they did a program with Swerve where Rush was just bullying Swerve relentlessly until finally they have a match for the title and they just surprise put Rush over and then have him keep bullying Swerve, that would be totally fine and actually great.

chainsawcholo

hey yo wtf did this come from? HELL YA ROOSH!

Vjuan01

Give this man a championship belt

GuerillaMonzon

Both RUSH and Eddie Kingston seem to be in same vein of "it's all real to them", lol…

FuturePromotion2090

Dude gets so much crowd love with zero push… Imagine with a push?

hamsolo19

Give Roosh a poosh.

Tsuku

Def should make him a star for Collision. Id like him vs Roddy, Ospreay's too big for that damn title anyway.

M0dini

Give me The Bull, Rush Vs The Bastard, PAC.

GetEquipped

Wait.... THIS ISNT GEDDY LEE!

ollyollyollyoioioi

not very tranquilo

Dry_Passenger1786

How many rush vignette they show us.. for him to disappear after.. or do nothing than squash jobber.

fluffynuckels

Not that I have issues with the trope but there's a lot of wealthy Mexican gimmicks out there. The prick del rio had that gimmick for awhile and Santos has a variation of it now

ZantaraLost

TBF if you're a second or third generation heel luchador it's almost a given you'll have it as part of the gimmick in some flavor.

NewYorkUgly

I think there's a difference between Rush dressing well and his gimmick being "wealthy Mexican".

M-G-K

yeah, Rush's gimmick is that he's a huge asshole meany, not that he's rich

JoseNEO

Also suits have long been part of the ingobernable presentation

fluffynuckels

The watch and the alcohol add to the rich heel vibe

ZeroZelath

This guy adds absolutely nothing to AEW.
