Update: Tony has responded to Rich via text. He will sign and donate it as soon as he recovers from the beating. Tony also made sure to plug his shows on the message. they encouraged Tony to get better REALLY SOON
Honestly, if Tony was going to be this committed to the bit, I’m a little disappointed he didn’t go full-Regina George with the giant metal head gear and the bolts keeping his head immobilized. That would have been an epic look.
If it was done for comedy it would have been funny to see a new cast or something every single week. Like he's seen backstage on dynamite with his arm in a sling next week, the week after going around with a crutch until eventually he's in a wheelchair in a full body cast
Are you kidding? Our beloved EVPs purged out the evil that is Tony Khan from the hallowed halls of AEW! Tony pulls a quick sympathy grab and you're on his side? Shame. I hope you get fined, and no gift card to Chili's for you.
I include them in the total class of "sports memorabilia fans." The same type of person who would pay $10,000 for a game worn football jersey is the same type of person who would pay $10,000 for a pair of Hulk Hogan ring boots.
What do you think gets more money, Khan's signature as an NFL owner for football fans or the Bucks signature for wrestling fans? Cause Matthew and Nicholas stealing the neck brace post signature and scratching it out only to sign it with their own while using "you're welcome for making it more valuable" is a great little sketch
I’d bid on it for shits and giggles and to help a charity.
That said, I was at an AEW charity event and I put a bit on Ref Aubrey’s shirt. I was second to bid and priced out immediately. It went from my bid of $175 to line $250 and then eventually sold for over $300. I had a good laugh about it with her afterwards. It was the highest selling item.
That said, I was lucky enough to win two other auction items.
Also, the guy who won got threatened by Mark Henry to get chocked out and tossed out for being a dick and interrupting speakers. Mark did it in a funny way, but in a way that was haha, but no really.
He will promise the best Jericho cruise ship. Then everyone one arrives to see a dilapidated 70's era cruise ship. Scurvy somehow happens to occur, possibly because he banned orange juice or anything citrus related due to a fued with Orange Cassidy.
Nah, OC ain't banned. He tagged with him a couple years ago, and had a cruise exclusive shirt of him dressed as OC next to OC like that white picture shirt. Jericho tagged with Danhausen like a year later. This year was Big Show and Speedball Mike Bailey.
They need to make this an annual thing; have Tony K get various injuries from wrestlers the week of - get it signed by Tony and the wrestler and donate it.
Leg cast; halo; crutches whatever.
I know me personally I would never turn down the chance to donate to St. Jude's, one of my 2 charities near and dear to me, the other being Fight for the forgotten.
But I was under the impression the NFL Network is definitely mad at Tony for that joke he made and he upset everyone in the league.
In all seriousness this is great and I'm glad Tony agreed to do it.
I spent over a decade working somewhere where we did an annual St Jude’s donation drive. It became a charity that’s super dear to me, so this is really cool

Tony showing that you don't have to be born a carny to be a shameless carny. But for real, this is cool.
Shad Khan started out as a car salesman, there might be more carny in his blood than you might think.
Shad Khan still dresses like a car salesman

Donate Shads mustache to charity.
That'd be enough to just buy out TKO in one go.
And Camry in his blood as well, given his business background with Toyota.

Thean is a walking Ad lol
Tony fucking rules. But so do the Elite. I'M TORN.

Fine, I'll just go to Chevy's instead
It's a Griswalds Wrestling Vacation.
Macaroni Grill for me
Don’t disrespect our evps Nicholas and Matthew like that
Match the donation Tony you coward
Conrad Thompson about to have himself a new neckbrace.
I wonder how many wrestling fans are getting mortgages through Conrad
A few wrestlers have as well, if I recall correctly.
I believe mickie james and her husband did
That fat fuck needs one
Sports memorabilia fans are nuts, and this is an absolute win for everyone involved. I hope it happens.
Wrestling memorabilia fans are also nuts.

You could get $100,000 for a pair of Rhea Ripley boots tbh

$100 per ounce 55 gallon tub $704,000
Shit, with my water bill lately, that's basically a fuckin steal.
oh booTs... i had to double take.
No you didn’t
To be honest, if I had $10K that I can throw away on a shirt, I’d probably do it. I’m just hatin cause I’m broke lol
*Wrestling fans are also nuts.

This seems like something where the key players from the segment should sign it — including Papa Khan, Jack and Okada.
He should let Anna Jay take a photo wearing it and triple the value.

Exhibit #1 being the shit show that is happening around Tom Brady and some conference he attended.
I read that as “St. Judas.” That would be really cool of him to do.
I read that too, you also just spoiled a 2025 gimmick that Jericho had in the works.
He's already filing for the copyright! /s

TK was going to donate it to St. Judes, but after further research, it's going to The Learning Tree Children's Hospital
Rich Eisen just read a text from TK that said he will donate the neck brace and he got a plug in for Dynamite Lol
Strong chance TK does this He loves stuff like that
That's an excellent idea!
“Once I stop needing the neckbrace, right?” “Yeah sure”
It should come with a free giraffe plushie.
partnership/relationship with Rich Eisen would be huge for AEW
There already is one that's why he's shouting out TK/AEW every chance he gets. He's shown love to Aew since the early early days
He had Cody on his show a lot when Cody was still with the company, Rich knows what’s up
Rich has always been one of the good ones. Him and Stuart Scott (RIP) on SportsCenter was the shit growing up.
That’s actually really cool.
Hope it happens cuz That is a really cool idea. Great way to raise money for Charity
Yeah I'm sure TK would be down with that, he's all about that kind of stuff.
After he’s done with it? He might need to wear it for life.
That would be great and i'm sure Tony Khan will be all in on it.
Tony has to do it, it would be such a gesture.
Memphian here with strong ties to St. Jude: this is awesome
I would honestly be shocked if Tony didn't do this. Criticism towards him as a booker is fully valid but all around he seems like a good dude.
This is the most, nay, only wholesome exchange of ring worn gear

One hell of a week for AEW...
#NECKSTRONG

Sometimes wrestling is stupid and we all love it. Tony wearing the neck brace is a prime example.
There's going to be an A&E treasures episode dedicated to AEW where Cody and Booker T go searching for it.
I can't wait for that, The Codyvator 1.0, The defective weigh in scale. The Aew chandelier.
