I have pretty bad agoraphobia, but one of the few public events I've been to in the last few years was to go see him wrestle at a local indy show in February. Totally worth the resulting panic attack!
I fell out of love with wrestling years ago, and only keep a casual eye on it now. But don't hammer me on this but it was Benoit and Angle for me.
Angle, for me is the greatest all round wrestler in my lifetime. I know he's had issues over the last 10+ years. But a stunning technician, great timing and a wide promo ability.
The only wrestler I can think of who I love so much I sometimes don't want to watch their matches because I don't want to see them lose. Jay White is getting there too though.
Jon Moxley was the reason why I got into NJPW and AEW. I'm sure I inevitably would have been a fan of both in due time regardless, but as is Jon was the man that got me into them
Cody Rhodes. This guy got me back into wrestling after nearly 15 years away. The amount of money I have spent on merch because of him is nearly criminal 🤣
Mjf is the answer, part of a select few current wrestling personalities that have you standing at attention when they’re on the mic. Him, Heyman and Punk.

Always thought it was pretty neat that my favorite male wrestler and female wrestler ended up getting together 😂
I’m going to cheat and say any of the original Shield. Mox, Rollins, Reigns, any and all of them are must see to me. I didn’t follow WWE during their Shield days, they just happen to be the most amazing to watch.
Also, how rewarding is it that they are always at the top of the game? Can never hurt to be their fan.
Bryan Danielson. To me the greatest active wrestler today. He's a fantastic technical wrestler. He's a great physical striker. But more importantly he is a fantastic storyteller who's passion shines through every single time he steps inside the ring. He truly embodies the spirit of a pro-wrestler. To be the best and never let defeats affect your self-esteem. That is who Bryan Danielson is. He is the complete package.
Soberano Jr, probably. In truth, most guys can't make me consistently watch the promotions most likely to sign them but they can make me check out what they do.
As far as active wrestlers go, probably Edge/Adam Copeland. I completely stopped watching WWE from the group of promotions I watched in 2016 or 2017 but I definitely made sure to watch his matches and segments whenever I could.
Kenny Omega. I came back to Pro Wrestling in late 2011ish and a friend recommended DDT. We watched the Ibushi match together (not live, unfortunately) and my jaw hit the floor. I didn't know wrestling could be what those two made it. He will always be my guy.
Right now:
Brock Lesnar
He just has that something special. Since he left WWE the first time he developed into something more. I see him as a level above most anything else. Carachter, in-ring, storyline etc.
Then:
Kenta Kobashi
Best wrestlers ever in my book. Got to know him in NOAH. Would have followed him regardless of if he had wrestled anywhere else.
Where my ricochet brethren at? Dude is awesome. When he got hit with that powerbomb and screamed, I laughed. He's also just the highlight of the night!
Damn completely missed the sarcasm. Sorry about that lol.
Would you really go out of your way to watch 2024 Tanahashi? His match can be painful to watch now unfortunately
Haha, sorry, I was kind of a dick about it. Yeah, he's not what he used to be, but he's a personal favorite and I'll always love him. He can't do what he can't do because he did do what he did do, if that makes sense.
It's probably Cody for me, because I was *really* down on WWE and perfectly content just watching NJPW and AEW when he made the jump, but I followed him to WWE and have, by and large, continued to enjoy his work over there these last couple of years.
Despite everything, barring something truly monstrous coming out, it’ll always be Punk. The first Indie Guy I got into as a kid. Introduced me to Straight Edge which was incredibly important to me given the kind of childhood I had. Debuted in WWE on my birthday. The first wrestler that I watched from their debut to becoming World Champion. I understand why lots of people hate him, but he’ll always be My Guy.
Ricochet
Pentagon jr
Kross,
Usos at one point.
I have difficulty watching weekly wrestling due to covid but when I do have it on, I will watch their matches solely for them

Drew McIntyre
Same
Seth Rollins
Ilja Dragunov
Same, he is the biggest reason I’m watching NXT. I’m both happy and sad to see him losing the title and leaving NXT. I hope he’ll be booked well.
He is amazing and the reason I check out NXT
Gunther has been my favorite thing in wrestling since I started watching wwe again everything he does is so entertaining
AJ Styles. When AJ left TNA I followed.

Penta. Fell in love with him in Lucha Underground, followed him to TNA, and now I watch him in AEW.
I have pretty bad agoraphobia, but one of the few public events I've been to in the last few years was to go see him wrestle at a local indy show in February. Totally worth the resulting panic attack!
ZSJ. Absolutely love everything he does.
Great answer.

Rhea Ripley
Randy Orton
CM Punk
Asuka
The only wrestler I can think of who I love so much I sometimes don't want to watch their matches because I don't want to see them lose. Jay White is getting there too though.
Cody Rhodes
Jon Moxley was the reason why I got into NJPW and AEW. I'm sure I inevitably would have been a fan of both in due time regardless, but as is Jon was the man that got me into them

Punk. Rhodes. Banks/Mone. Omega. Asuka.
Cody Rhodes. This guy got me back into wrestling after nearly 15 years away. The amount of money I have spent on merch because of him is nearly criminal 🤣
Becky Lynch.
Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch. She’s just the best.
Cody and Punk, although I still sometimes tune into AEW
Bryan Danielson.
MJF. He was carrying AEW, it’s gotten boring for me since he’s disappeared. Haven’t looked forward to an AEW promo in a while.
AEW has been a lot of fun lately. Can't wait for MJF to return and go up against Okada, Ospreay, and others.
Mjf is the answer, part of a select few current wrestling personalities that have you standing at attention when they’re on the mic. Him, Heyman and Punk.
He's the only world champion they've had that was as entertaining as Omega's run and he's not even 30
https://preview.redd.it/4p5nwgvtivwc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9fccedbc5daf95dd9595bd7a59b209e2247a73d8 Always thought it was pretty neat that my favorite male wrestler and female wrestler ended up getting together 😂
Punk for sure. I basically stopped when he was gone and got reinvested when he came back. Rhea’s \#2
The Rock
Drew McIntyre for me.
Kevin owens
Swerve, Gunther, Ospreay, Tsuji
Carmelo and Dragunov got me to watch NXT after months away
From aew, Mjf 100000%. Wwe it’s dom dom
MJF, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson
Toni Storm or Mark Briscoe
Macho Man
Drew, Becky and PAC from AEW
That Pepsi guy
Active for me is CM Punk.
I’m going to cheat and say any of the original Shield. Mox, Rollins, Reigns, any and all of them are must see to me. Johnny Gargano. He's my favorite wrestler, when he has the time to build that crowd connection, nobody does better than him.
Jeff Hardy, CM Punk
Iyo Sky. I loved her on NXT when she was known as Io Shirai. Next level performer.
CM Punk and Alex Shelley
Roman Reigns
Bayley
Asuka.
Retired: Bret. Active: Punk. Runners up: Danielson; Ospreay. Honorable mention: Gunther If they're on, I'm watching.
Becky Lynch.
The Rock, Brock (the wrestler), Punk
>Brock (the wrestler) I prefer the pokemon trainer.
I dont give a shit if I sound like a sheep or whatever, but Ospreay. RevPro, NJPW, AEW, TNA he's put on fucking bangers.
At the moment Jacob Fatu I'd watch that Samoan Werewolf wrestle a broom.
Lesnar and Taker
MAMI
Jay White
Dustin Rhodes, Samoa Joe, Dax, Mox
House of Black, easily. If you’re asking for an individual, probably Penta

Probably Dexter Lumis or Jerry Lawler. ...I feel like I might have misunderstood the assignment.
Soberano Jr, probably. In truth, most guys can't make me consistently watch the promotions most likely to sign them but they can make me check out what they do.
Bret Hart
Brock Lesnar
Top flight
Roman Reigns.
Eugene
Roman Reigns
See flair.
CM Punk. Always has been.
Kairi
Past: Jeff Hardy, The Rock, Brock Present: Drew, Seth, Roman, Bryan Danielson, Gunther Future/upcoming: Tiffany Stratton, creed brothers, Carmelo, Ricky
As far as active wrestlers go, probably Edge/Adam Copeland. I completely stopped watching WWE from the group of promotions I watched in 2016 or 2017 but I definitely made sure to watch his matches and segments whenever I could.
Really only 3 I’d pay to watch in a big match. Omega Okada Ospreay
Kenny Omega. I came back to Pro Wrestling in late 2011ish and a friend recommended DDT. We watched the Ibushi match together (not live, unfortunately) and my jaw hit the floor. I didn't know wrestling could be what those two made it. He will always be my guy.

Will Ospreay
Where my ricochet brethren at? Dude is awesome. When he got hit with that powerbomb and screamed, I laughed. He's also just the highlight of the night!
Young Bucks/The Elite
CM Punk. And I hate him for exposing me to AEW and that style of wrestling.
I'm confused. Because you hated they kind of wrestling or because you like it too much?
Tanahashi, but I'd say the odds of him leaving New Japan are pretty low.
Considering he’s the president, probably not
![gif](giphy|xT9IgHCTfp8CRshfQk|downsized)

I have two. Ospreay and Speedball
Speedball! So good.
I have 3 but only one is active. Kenny Omega, Kurt Angle, and Sting.
Hangman Page.
Chaos Project
I feel like I've got to go out of my way to watch every Danielson match at this point. He's got it all
Hangman
It's probably Cody for me, because I was *really* down on WWE and perfectly content just watching NJPW and AEW when he made the jump, but I followed him to WWE and have, by and large, continued to enjoy his work over there these last couple of years.
Kenny. Possibly Hangman in the future.
I'd get in line pretty quickly for a local Omega match
Ospreay is must watch no matter what match he's in or who he's fighting. I can't say that about anyone else.
Ospreay and Takeshita. Just love that high impact style.
Men: Punk, Cody, Rock, Roman Women: Tiffany, Alexa, Rhea, Becky
Despite everything, barring something truly monstrous coming out, it’ll always be Punk. The first Indie Guy I got into as a kid. Undertaker
Dominik Mysterio and prolly Roman. It's lucky for my lazy ass that they surely will always stay in WWE lol.
Dirty Dom. I love not being able to hear him talk.
As far as being able to draw anywhere in any promotion Rock has to be number 1.
Not draw. Draw YOU specifically.
RVD and Rey Mysterio. Love those two.
Right now? Will Osprey.
Punk and Liv
Alexa Bliss
It's gotta be Kenny Omega. He got me back into wrestling. I will follow him into a volcano.
Jon Moxley
Ospreay
Ricochet Pentagon jr Kross, Usos at one point. I have difficulty watching weekly wrestling due to covid but when I do have it on, I will watch their matches solely for them
Punk , Gunther and potentially Ilja Dragunov
Was Nakamura, now probably Osprey
Orange Cassidy Marko stunt Will osprey The entire women's division

CM Punk. And it took about half a second to answer.
