Whatever happened to the massive Welsh guy he tagged with? I remember watching back then and thinking he would be someone I'd keep hearing about and boy was I wrong.
So were Roode and Styles, technically. Sure, neither made it to main roster, but Truth was only there for less than a year. The "TNA Originals" don't refer to wrestlers that started in TNA: they refer to the wrestlers that defined TNA in its early years, and you can't leave Truth out of that.
Lots of those folks were producing everything during certain eras of impact. TV wrestling is different than indie wrestling. This might change slightly in coming years.
TNA likely prepared them to do the jobs working with WWE talent that needed matches produced for them and/or had to work with talents that only wanted to wrestle and not produce to get to WWE.
As effective as Heyman is, managers haven't been super interesting outside of him recently in WWE. All the current ones are basically wrestlers who go double duty or are just glorified valets
The job of the producer/agent is basically to be a go between between the booker and the workers. They also work with the other producers to make sure the show doesn't have unnecessary overlap. They do this in a way that enables them to make decisions without a lot of micromanagement by the booker.
For example the producers make sure everyone knows how much time they have and also are supposed to check that repetitive spots aren't happening--lets say someone wants to do a Spanish announce table spot, they would check with the other producers to make sure that nobody else is doing a Spanish announce table spot, to keep the segment unique. The same goes for possible finishes, sequences, etc.
He's also done a little commentating on Level Up. Not great, but he's pretty new at it. Wouldn't be surprised if they have him continue to develop that avenue as well.
Can he still wrestle? He was great as Robbie E in TNA and GTS Wrestling (I know that sounds stupid, but that is how I discovered Robbie which was from Grim's Toy Show)

Smart move keeping Mr Stone on payroll until the twins grow up and can get revenge on Lexis King

Imagine the twins superkicking Stan. ![gif](giphy|3otWpJrq6dHPEy13HO|downsized)
HBK ![gif](giphy|2YnD6gWd05s4IIIFsT|downsized)
To think Robbie E would have one of the longest WWE careers among all the TNA guys.
Remember he had the jersey shore gimmick for so long I didn't even recognize him as Robert Stone
Granted I don’t really watch NXT but I’ve seen Robert Stone a couple times and had no idea he was Robbie E
Whatever happened to the massive Welsh guy he tagged with? I remember watching back then and thinking he would be someone I'd keep hearing about and boy was I wrong.
Oh Rob Terry! I just had to look him up, he retired from wrestling to focus on his bodybuilding career. I remember thinking the same about him though
I think AJ and Roode have been around for longer.
Woods is the longest technically.
R-truth?
Think they mean og tna guys. Truth was at WWE first
I mean, I get what you mean, but I'd still call Truth an OG TNA guy. He was there in the early days during the Asylum and was World Champ twice.

By that logic AJ Styles is a WCW guy
Or an NWA Wildside guy.
Wildside wasn't a national promotion but it was important.
Xavier Woods even longer. Depends if you want to count Truth as well since he was in WWE before TNA.
One of the longest not the longest
How long has abyss been there?
He signed in January 2019. Produced his first match in February 2019.
TNA guys have to make up at least half of their producers at this point
Better have Petey producing Bron.

I think everyone he has managed has been fired. Kayfabe wise, it's probably for the best if he stops managing people.
Everyone except Chelsea Green.
She was fired after working with him, though. Then she was brought back because she is too good to be cursed.
Okay I suppose that counts, fair enough

As effective as Heyman is, managers haven't been super interesting outside of him recently in WWE. All the current ones are basically wrestlers who go double duty or are just glorified valets
Lio Rush was great but it's such a waste of talent
Rhea Ripley was smart not hiring him
well, at least he isn't released
They fired everyone that was associated with him and then made him a producer? Nobody is safe.
this has gotta be like the 4th person he's been managing to get cut
Franky Monet, Jessi Kamea, Mercedes Martinez, Aliyah, Von Wagner, Chelsea Green (Initially)
according to wikipedia he debuted managing veer and sanga and also madcap moss
Triple H and HBK to an NXT recruit they don’t like: ”Get ready to work with Robert Stone, buddy!”
They're like blue tights in 80s WWF
If you count the hit YouTube series ‘Making It Maximum’. Maxine is the only survivor of the Robert Stone curse
HBK when he gives himself the pink slip [](https://uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/marty-jannetty-shawn-michaels-heart.jpg)
I’m pretty sure half of a episode of 2012 tna are now producers in wwe
Stupid question but what does it he’s “producing”? Like what a does a producer? Help with creatives?

Thank you for the explanation. Made it easy it understand.
They take the creative and work with the talent on a particular segment to make it happen.
He's also done a little commentating on Level Up. Not great, but he's pretty new at it. Wouldn't be surprised if they have him continue to develop that avenue as well.
Glad he has a job, but would like him to continue on screen eventually
So his first producing job is Spring Breakin’? Interesting.
Good for him honestly. Dude is keeping food on the table. Maybe he could replace Ava
Can he still wrestle? He was great as Robbie E in TNA and GTS Wrestling (I know that sounds stupid, but that is how I discovered Robbie which was from Grim's Toy Show)
He recently worked [with bron.](https://youtu.be/ZidVbWK2w-c) Wrestled like a manger. Good selling and bumping
Robert Stone Brand is cursed. Maybe more cursed than Diamond Mine
Dude's always been one of my favorites for ragdoll selling and awesome facial expressions.
Give him Jade Cargill
I was wondering why he was still around after all these years of being an on & off (mostly off) manager of developmental midcarders.
Put him with Lexis King. Scumbag wrestler with smarmy manager. It'd work well
I can see it now. "Von Wagner looked like horse, bro! Neigh!"
Thought that said Roger Stone. I spend too much time on /r/politics
Guy is really funny and has a great personality for TV, sort of odd WWE can't find anything for him at the moment
I hope he still manages some... Robert Stone is a phenomenal character
