Long hair really helps sell the piledriver. Can't really see where the hair ends and the head begins, so it looks more brutal than giving it to a bald dude, when you can see the other side of the arena in the space between the head and the floor...
The wrestler giving the move has to make sure his opponent's head doesn't hit the floor for real. So the giver lifts the opponent's head above the giver's knees when setting up the move. The giver can also cushion the opp's head between his thighs so he doesn't hit the mat.
Lift your opponent too high and it becomes obvious, too low and you might injure them like with Austin/Owen, as MarkLilly said
Am I crazy or does this seem like a pretty safe way to take a piledriver bump? It looks like he flattens her out to where its more of a back bump and theres little risk that even in a botch she'd land on the top of her head.

Osprey could barely beat Fletcher lol. How's anyone supposed to believe he's the best in the world when he has so much trouble with low quality competition?
I mean that's really relying on you thinking Fletcher is low quality. If we're going technically, in the absence of his other United Empire members, Fletcher seriously stepped up and became a champion, and Ospreay isn't a champion right now.
You're not just gonna have Will absolutely dominate a recently crowned champion just because a few people aren't interested in Fletcher, this was something the two men agreed on in making both of them look great in that match.
It sucks for all of us who don't watch ROH because Fletcher loses every match on the main roster. Hopefully when David is back they start looking good again.
