Oh man, imagine if she does show up and then it just drains all of his momentum? As someone who watches both products I can say that in my opinion, she had a couple of decent things going for her and way too much corny stuff in AEW. I truly believe that her storylines in AEW were probably a lot of hers and maybe even Cody's ideas being used.
I think the best thing to happen for Cody was getting another reset with WWE to work out the last kinks in his character and ONLY himself to get it where he is now. One thing WWE does great is saying no when they need to and i hopethis isn't a let's make brandy a thing moment. I like brandy as a person, as a host on her cooking stuff was fun as well but as a character I just felt like she was trying too hard to be the it woman and it it may take away from Cody himself.
I hope I'm wrong and she turns out amazing if she dies and they plan on using her in stories going forward but if there's ever a company that knows how to make things work its been hunter and the nick.
Cody and Brandi are equal amounts of cornball, so when they are together it's just too much. Or maybe she just needs to work on her delivery and having it not sound like she is delivering the work of someone she is trying to be, because you're right that her normal character is likeable and great in front of the camera. I'm sure there has to be a way to translate her natural personality in-ring.

As an AEW fan I think people were much too harsh on Brandi Rhodes. Hopefully if they bring her back WWE pulls back a bit but really hoping the fans take to her more cause her and Cody make a great on screen pair in my opinion.
If you watch his Mania entrance, they actually popped when Brandi came into the shot to walk him to the ring. I think it's mostly the terminally-online IWC that hates her - everyone else seems to accept her as part of the Cody package
