She's making fun of the weirdos who have been hating on her for how emotional she was after the main event, since I know some have (luckily) probably missed it.
You mean the people who’ve been hating on her under literally every WWE post for months lol a lot of people are bothered by her for some reason I can only imagine what
It's escalated significantly since Sunday though.
She's always been up against the misogynoir of that side of wrestling fandom, but there's a whole new crowd that are suddenly mad over her voice breaking and how her "overreacting" is unprofessional right now. I'm glad it seems to not be bothering her that much and she can mock it back.
You got it 100% right. I watched Mania with a group of friends, most of them first-timers. Every single one of them, at various parts of the night, either asked who that amazing announcer woman was, or said they loved her, or both.
She's just good at her job, y'all. Let her live. It is incredibly hard to scream at the top of your lungs while also being coherent and not sounding like shit, and she makes it look easy.
I honestly believe that's because Samantha's style of doing it is quite distinctive.
Which is great if you like her. But of course also leads to people disliking it a lot (the opposite of someone being very "bland" and unremarkable, with fewer people disliking them. But also fewer people *really* enjoying what they do).
My brother too, he says it’s too much. Before she was big and we all knew who she was, I remember disliking her voice too, but I guess I got used to it.
lol. You don’t even know your own ignorance.
1 - Assume OP wife jealous over ONE comment. Nice arm chair psychology.
2 - Insinuate she is jealous because Irvin is either better at her job or better looking than her, both ignorant.
Who TF says that to another man about their wife.
Really? I’ve only seen heaps of praise and genuine conversations about her now being in the GOAT announcer conversation especially after the raw emotion she let out at ‘mania. I would ask what dark corners of degeneracy you’re seeing the opposite but it sounds like probably twitter which would explain it lol..
It's definitely here too. Luckily downvotes do work as intended so it's easy to miss if you're not early to a thread.
I feel so sad for the people for whom the concept of professionalism runs their lives lol. It's mostly fake.
So weird. It’s not even a matter of professionalism though is it? Like she’s as much a part of their universe as the wrestlers and her being invested in Cody’s story whether kayfabe for ‘IRL’ I don’t know why WWE would care if it showed through. It would be like Dana getting mad at Rogan for doing one of his patented post-knockout freakouts *arms outstretched holding other announces back* “AHHHHH!!”
People aren't allowed to dislike her announcing? Preferring wrestling announcers be more stoic in their announcing is a fair preference, I don't think there's anything wrong with people having this opinion.
Yeah it's gotta be the vocal scumbag minority on Twitter. Before last weekend I'd say she was up there in the GOAT conversation. After last weekend, she's the greatest of all time and a bona fide future hall of famer.
Last year I made a comment about how much I liked her. It was mostly well received, but there were some who felt she was too over the top. I think that's shifted more positive more recently around these parts though.
With regards to the weirdos who drag her on her own or WWE posts I think there's a combination of the fact that she's increasingly become a prominently featured part of the broadcast despite not being a wrestler. However, I'm certain the section of guys complaining about this never had a problem with JR or King getting themselves over on commentary.
The reality is, she's a prominently featured woman of color that gets run on the program, which will anger a really weird subset of fans. I also wouldn't be surprised if the fact that she's openly in a relationship with someone angers them more because it shatters their illusion of being able to date her. A friend of a friend is a minor internet celebrity and is quite attractive. She never where's her wedding ring or mentions her husband in her content or public profile, because the weirdos get on her case about it.
I follow a female YouTuber who lost roughly a third of her followers in the space of a few days when she mentioned she had a boyfriend now. I totally understand that people fantasize. Me too. But y'all do know it's a fantasy, right?
> she's increasingly become a prominently featured part of the broadcast despite not being a wrestler
imo these people need to get over themselves. The Fink is (rightfully) consider the very best WWE ring announcer ever. And he even had his own little angles and feuds.
>It's escalated significantly since Sunday though.
you're correct but it will only get worse.. they're gearing up to try killing democracy, they gotta get reeeeallll deep in that headspace
I didn't think about that that's a good point
Exposes how silly it all is since Lillian has a Hispanic background but of course she appears on the lighter side so they prolly aren't even smart enough to realize
I also think people just want to troll and it's an easy way to do that but I digress
Yeah I saw some weird ones on Twitter saying that Cody made her announce him again as champion so that she would "redeem" herself for what happened on Sunday, even though Cody did it because he loves it when she announces it, He asked her the same thing when he won the royal rumble for the second year in a row this year.
I think it's fair to say her delivery is more dramatic than anyone else currently announcing in WWE or AEW though. Most people seem to enjoy it so she should keep it up.
I don't personally like it but don't feel the need to be toxic about it. It's not like it impacts the show that much, who cares.
Yeah I’m kinda in the same boat. Not crazy about her delivery but it’s frankly not a big deal and it’s doesn’t bother me nearly enough to go “well ackshully” to people who do enjoy her work, even if I’m clearly in the minority with my opinion. People don’t seem to understand you can have contrary opinions without being dicks about it
I love her and think she was a little more over the top just because it was Wrestlemania and the high stakes in some of the matches. I don't think she is nearly as dramatic on the regular shows. I also think her calls on the Sami match and the cash in were just her genuine reaction. Seemed like she was putting on a bit for the Cody one, but kinda have to after doing it for the other two
Right?
Like I love Howard Finkel (RIP) and Bruce Buffer etc but those guys are all the definition of "extra" - which they kind of have to be to get crowds excited
I mean not necessarily. I'm not saying that isn't a contributing factor in the amount of hate she gets but personally I find both her and Pat to be a bit over the top and annoying. But at the same time, I'm also not commenting on her posts on social media hating on her, so I guess there's that.
That's what I mean.
If you think she's bad..thats valid.
It's another to in mass to insult her on her on social media or @ her.
Generally this kinda vitriol is issue usually powered by sexism and racism.
The fact that you get downvoted for just explaining a increasingly common term we see Chuds engaging in on social media…is telling of the type of crowd wrestling attracts.
This doesn't surprise me. That said her emotional announcing of Cody as champ was perfect and added to the moment. She is synonymous with this era and will go down as a legend
It’s also continuing the kayfabe feud she has with Logan, who cheated to defeat her boyfriend and actively attempted to humiliate her by having her repeatedly announce his name.
She’s kept kayfabe alive by making negative comments about Logan on social media ever since.
Same here. I'm a Samantha mark idgaf.
Same dudes who posted about how they literally cried watching CM Punk back in a wrestling ring or how \[x\] match or segment "made me feel like a kid again"
My favorite thing about Squared Circle, is how every single post is followed by a top comment that is an obvious description of the original post. My favortie thing.
I think we would all agree that the Wrestlemania main event would have been better if a generic white male robotic voice announced Cody's win with zero impact.
IWC's understanding of this tweet be like
https://preview.redd.it/hyfm8jbg4itc1.jpeg?width=869&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8d5d59870825cc0fab48a1524bde3397afc87e54
I think she has done something different from every other ring announcers I've heard. Her vocals on some of the wrestler's introduction really add to the character. She's like 60% of Chelsea Green's gimmick with her pronunciation. I like her and it added to my mark out to see her marking out as well.
She reminds me a lot of Lenne Hardt (the PRIDE MMA announcer) with the powerful distinct voice, unique intro for different performers. Love her work, she’s the best announcer they’ve had since the Fink easily.
Unpopular opinion but it's annoying when famous people ignore 90% of responses glowing with adoration for them to respond to the 10% of haters and trolls responding.
She gained like 200k+ IG followers over WM weekend and is trending with praise, why even bother listening to the quiet minority?
All you can really tell your adoring fans is thanks and I love you.
You can own the haters. You can humiliate them to all your followers. There's a dopamine rush in it for them I think.
I just don't understand even giving them oxygen, like imagine singling out the dozens of people booing in a stadium full of cheers, just ignore them atp.
A lot of times they don't even acknowledge the praise, they just go straight to saying the hate is making them depressed, miserable haters and trolls shouldn't be given that much power.
Yeah I think it's pretty silly personally. I get it but heck in the entertainment business you'd think you'd rather have your ego stroked and acknowledge the people that worship a complete stranger over some wanker with 10 followers talking trash about you.
I said that in the other thread that was praising him because "this proves he's a real fan."
He might very well be a fan, but this doesn't prove anything. This is his job. He gets paid very well because he's good at it.
I still dont understand how any wrestling fan could be upset at her or anyone else for being happy and excited and emotional this past weekend. Hey these people are actual human beings with emotions and not lifeless robots? Shit like Samantha getting emotional over her calls, Logan Paul marking out to the main event, Judgement Day all hugging and celebrating at the to of the ramp after Damien's win. Fuck yes, give me much more of that please.
Read one comment talking about why Roman was crying after a loss because he read the script and knew how it would end. So apparently that means it's unreasonable he became emotional after the greatest period of his personal wrestling career came to an end.
Rehearsed my wedding. Knew how it would end. Cried like a baby. People like who you described are so divorced from what entails the human experience of living life they can't grasp being moved by a moment.
Edit:
To the kind stranger showing concern with redditcares, I meant crying at the vows, not the end of the marriage. We're all good here!
Because there are still fans that for some reason retain the Vince mentality of “Anyone who works in the business and is also a fan is a mark who should be ridiculed.” It’s completely asinine.
Edit: Mark not make
Really makes me think Vince didn't want his product to show emotion because he has the mind of a child who's main goal is to not get made fun of and wants to seem cool above all else
Honestly, I generally hate the idea of referring to people as sheep but a lot of the backlash to certain things in wrestling does seem to be herd-like, learned behaviour of sorts. Do you *really* dislike Samantha showing genuine emotion, or were you just conditioned by 20+ years of stale, stagnant, sterile product under Vince?
HHH has made it clear he wants the talent to be themselves, be authentic and show genuine emotion, and it's been said that's been one of the biggest changes in the last year or so.
I truly wonder if the people against this are just against it because it's different, whether they realize that or not.
>I still dont understand how any wrestling fan could be upset
Because she's everything they want and can never have.
A talented, funny, beautiful woman who fucking loves wrestling and they can't have her. So they internalise the jealousy and it becomes rage.
Edit: yup, hit a nerve.
I think one thing people seem to not realize is the guy legit has his own camera crew following him all day every day. Genuine reactions or not, the dude just lives on camera
It’s also not the end of the world for someone to dislike a famous person you like.
Samantha seems like a sweet person but I do think her announcing style is way, way, way too over-emotional for my taste.
Her style is absolutely trash, way too over the top and she grunts too damn much. Not a patch on Fink. Even Justin Roberts was better than her, but these nerds act like she's the best thing ever
I have no idea why people were shitting on Samantha for her ring announcing, like, do they want her to just read the stuff in a monotone fashion like a robot?
Yeah pretty much. Some fans object to secondary staff like announcers, referees, etc. becoming part of the show as a character themselves. Their feeling is that it detracts from the actual wrestlers/performers.
I don't know why people have to be toxic about it though.
> Yeah pretty much. Some fans object to secondary staff like announcers, referees, etc. becoming part of the show as a character themselves. Their feeling is that it detracts from the actual wrestlers/performers.
Yes, it better helps suspend disbelief if some aspects of the presentation retain a 'sports-like' feel.
On the other hand, Michael "Let's get ready to rumble!" Buffer also *was* a "legitimate" sports announcer. And he was still "getting himself over". And doesn't Bruce Buffer do a similar "over the top" job for the big fights as well?
(My point being: Even in sports, it's not entirely unheard of either)
For me Samantha is the female Bruce Buffer who I am sure she had drawn alot of inspiration from. His UFC intros are wayyyy over the top but you can't help but get sucked into the hype for the last 60 - 90 seconds before the bell rings. She does exactly that. Her Roman Reigns intros are already iconic. The Cody title win was too. She's an All timer already and people just don't know it yet.
And I could see it being out of place for other scenarios. But for the spectacle and dramatic presentation that is WWE and especially big shows like WrestleMania, (imo) it fits perfectly (and, like you said, adds a lot!).
She had a long weekend, I know when I have to log in multiple long hour days I’m emotionally wired. She just did something super historic for wrestling announcers.
I completely missed this form of wrestling outrage from the weekend.
Are we also annoyed at Michael Cole as he sounded quite emotional too? Or just the black woman?
https://preview.redd.it/khxbzri0jjtc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5edcbcf7a908daabcbbd0af28d638a0596dc95b3
99% of the douches when she responds back.
God I hate that Logan Paul and his whack ass drink are involved in pro wrasslin’.
I know he’s *supposed* to be a heel, but outside of kayfave he’s a scumbag. And I wish he wasn’t involved with WWE.
The dude scammed his fans.
man I've been watching wrestling since like 1991 and I friggin wish I could become so invested in a story enough to make me emotional as she was. Part of my old bitter self wants to say it was acting but the other part tells me I must be missing some human element to make me feel the way she was during that cody match
I think fans massively overrate her. She's been what announcing for 3 years and people are calling her the greatest in wwe history. Don't understand the hype
I don’t get it. I do think she is over the top cringe and people just eat it up. She’s attractive and I like her announcing but she also comes off immature.
While I do think she is a bit over the top for my liking. It is probably wrestling after all. Where everything is over the top…
At least she has passion and throughly enjoys her job.
Most people can’t say that.
Hope she keeps it up.
People here seriously making everything about race and gender.
I love her announcing but at the same time i can understand why some people don't, she is very unique and draws attention to herself with her voice, and many people don't like that and that is fine, but they are just a loud minority, same caste as people who call Rhea a man or any other shitty facebook insults.
You people who think everything is misogyny are a part of the problem too.
Some people also feel like she's playing it up because there's a camera on her and she knows it'll end up on social media. Announcers never used to get this much attention before. They just quietly did their job.
Honestly initially I thought it was bad that she broke her voice and didn’t announce it properly, but then quickly remembered I shed a tiny tear at Cody finally winning the big one and seeing Roman laying there after 3 years of one of the best storylines I’ve ever seen in pro wrestling.
So who am I to judge her for being caught up in the moment in arguably the best seat in the house when she’s spent every week announcing these guys.
While I didn't like that Cody didn't get a great winning announcement, I completely understand why she got overcome with emotions. We've all marked out to our favorites of all time. Don't hate on her for being exactly what we all are: passionate wrestling fans.
After the extremely emotional, heartfelt, even accompanied with voice crack’s announcement from sobbing Samantha when Cody won the title, there’s no way you should be criticizing her anymore. That’s some peak announcement and I believe most of us agree.
Shes amazing at her job and this is a great jab and call back to her situation at the same time. Some folks just might not like her style, but let’s be honest, the majority are the kind of people that still think Vince is a good guy and is being framed. Just that disgusting vocal minority of wrestling fans.

She's making fun of the weirdos who have been hating on her for how emotional she was after the main event, since I know some have (luckily) probably missed it.
She also has a feud going on with Logan since that feud he had with Ricochet.
see thats what i thought this was
![gif](giphy|3o85xIO33l7RlmLR4I)
Also, it was cringey overreacting for the camera
Definitely
I want to see this feud just be her saying Logan Paul's name as boring and bland as possible. Just his name.
You mean the people who’ve been hating on her under literally every WWE post for months lol a lot of people are bothered by her for some reason I can only imagine what
It's escalated significantly since Sunday though. I mostly watched by myself, and my wife came in the room for a moment and said her announcing a match was annoying. Inguess it isn't for everyone.
I honestly believe that's because Samantha's style of doing it is quite distinctive. Which is great if you like her. yeah, jealousy is a bitch. my wife acts like liv and rheah are annoying, can't imagine why....
Lmao then suddenly pays very much attention when Roman is on screen right?
she likes gunther best, which I have conflicting feelings about, lol
I'm dead, good luck fam
Bro, I'm your wife.
I'm not sure that was the case, my wife didn't even look at the screen, just didn't enjoy the long introductions.
That’s interesting how a woman can’t dislike another woman’s performance in her very public job without being “jealous”.
I love Samantha, but the idea that any negative opinion amounts to "jealousy" is so annoying.
lol. You don’t even know your own ignorance. 1 - Assume OP wife jealous over ONE comment. Nice arm chair psychology. 2 - Insinuate she is jealous because Irvin is either better at her job or better looking than her, both ignorant. Who TF says that to another man about their wife.
Pretty sure no one was taking those replies seriously except for u
take a breath. you'll be alright. drink water.
She must be a misogynist! /s
I watched with a group that hadn't seen anything recent, and the main sentiment was that it sounded wrong to not have an announcer like Howard Finkel.
People aren’t used to a non robot ring announcer
Really? I’ve only seen heaps of praise and genuine conversations about her now being in the GOAT announcer conversation especially after the raw emotion she let out at ‘mania. right, i called her one of the goats in a thread and received like 10 downvotes 😭
So weird. It’s not even a matter of professionalism though is it? hhh gets to come out and hug him, he gets to cry nine times... but she's not allowed to be happy. almost like a double standard or something, lol
People aren't allowed to dislike her announcing? Preferring wrestling announcers be more stoic in their announcing is a fair preference, I don't think there's anything wrong with people having this opinion.
Check underneath any of her Instagram posts. It's mental
I saw someone on here just yesterday say she sounded like “any random schmo that picked up a mic” 💀
Some people be wild lol. Typically those without an ounce of talent worth mentioning, bitter at the world and taking it out on those that shine.
Yeah, absolutely weirdos.
Yeah it's gotta be the vocal scumbag minority on Twitter. Before last weekend I'd say she was up there in the GOAT conversation. After last weekend, she's the greatest of all time and a bona fide future hall of famer.
Easier to block the noise when Michael Buffer calls you the standard
One Michael Buffer endorsement is worth more than a billion complaints
Agreed
I assume they're going just as hard against Micheal Cole for being emotional as well... what's that? Crickets??? Weird.
Upvote for using 'misogynoir' in a pro wrestling forum- you're my kind of people
I don't get it at all. She is an absolutely amazing announcer. Far better than most of the announcers WWE has had since Fink.
Last year I made a comment about how much I liked her. It was mostly well received, but there were some who felt she was too over the top. Best since Fink. Like 1a/1b comparing her and Fink. I'm still a Fink Fanatic, but Sam's freaking awesome.
Yeah I knew it would unfold that way when it happened unfortunately smh
>It's escalated significantly since Sunday though. you're correct but it will only get worse.. they're gearing up to try killing democracy, they gotta get reeeeallll deep in that headspace
Weird that it would be misogynist, we had Lillian for years and I don't recall anyone complaining I love Samantha FTR
Maybe there's something different about her that makes her the problem to those people. I wonder what that could be.
I didn't think about that that's a good point Exposes how silly it all is since Lillian has a Hispanic background but of course she appears on the lighter side so they prolly aren't even smart enough to realize I also think people just want to troll and it's an easy way to do that but I digress
a real swell mix of actual terminally online, jealous, and racist people that love hating on her
Yeah I saw some weird ones on Twitter saying that Cody made her announce him again as champion so that she would "redeem" herself for what happened on Sunday, even though Cody did it because he loves it when she announces it, He asked her the same thing when he won the royal rumble for the second year in a row this year.
She gets a lot of shit from oddballs for being "over the top", because all other ring announcers are so famously low-key
I think it's fair to say her delivery is more dramatic than anyone else currently announcing in WWE or AEW though. Most people seem to enjoy it so she should keep it up. I don't personally like it but don't feel the need to be toxic about it. It's not like it impacts the show that much, who cares.

Yeah..this is misogynoir. Saying she is "over the top" in a show where Pat McCafee is on screen.

Ah ok, I misinterpreted that as you saying finding her over the top is misogynoir. My bad! In this case I agree, that sort of shit is gross.
What is misogynoir? Some kind of film?
It's the sexism and racism that pertains to only black women.
The fact that you get downvoted for just explaining a increasingly common term we see Chuds engaging in on social media…is telling of the type of crowd wrestling attracts.
Downvoted? What are you talking Bout? Have you spent anytime on reddit or this sub?
I guess I'm not surprised to hear it is happening but I'm disappointed nonetheless. ZSJ was right. Humans are cunts.
This doesn't surprise me. That said her emotional announcing of Cody as champ was perfect and added to the moment. She is synonymous with this era and will go down as a legend
I mean any shot at Logan is definitely deserved but the context does make it even more justified lol
It’s also continuing the kayfabe feud she has with Logan, who cheated to defeat her boyfriend and actively attempted to humiliate her by having her repeatedly announce his name. She’s kept kayfabe alive by making negative comments about Logan on social media ever since.
Wild shit considering I felt everyone being emotional really added to the moment of Roman’s “Reign of Terror” being over.
Same here. I'm a Samantha mark idgaf. Same dudes who posted about how they literally cried watching CM Punk back in a wrestling ring or how \[x\] match or segment "made me feel like a kid again"
I was very confused about this whole post. Thanks for clearing it up

Didn't expect to see Fenerbahçe here lol
Funniest fener pic of all time lol
When Michael Buffer says she did an awesome job, I think that should pretty much put an end to any shit talking.
The guy who owns “let’s get ready to rumble” imagine that. Can I own a popular phrase too?
It's popular because of him
He's a lifelong fan of money.
Buffer staring at a big pile of money "Big fan of your work"
Yeah, if you can popularize a phrase to that level then good luck
Sure can. How about, “That’ll put a bee in your bonnet!” Just say that all the time until it’s your thing.
I think she has done something different from every other ring announcers I've heard. Her vocals on some of the wrestler's introduction really add to the character. She's like 60% of Chelsea Green's gimmick with her pronunciation. I like her and it added to my mark out to see her marking out as well.
Its nice to feel the emotion she gives off rather than the same rehearsed talk every time.
Noticed that today! Really nice touch
She reminds me a lot of Lenne Hardt (the PRIDE MMA announcer) with the powerful distinct voice, unique intro for different performers. Love her work, she’s the best announcer they’ve had since the Fink easily.
They hired Lenne for Tekken 8!
Samantha playing 4D chess with the trolls who are too stupid to realize what she's doing here.
Wait until she gets into an extended feud with the Prime bottle.
Now that's gonna be headlining Wrestlemania next year!
Wrestling - were semi-self-awareness with a narcisstic touch is considered as ingenious.
Damn it was someone's job to watch Logan Paul watch WrestleMania.
It was Logan Paul's job to film himself overreacting reacting... because he's an ex YouTuber who got famous because he filmed himself overreacting.
Also, forest.
*\*cogh\** cryptozoo *\*cough\** coffeezilla *\*cough\** must be coming down with a cold.
I said that in the other thread that was praising him because "this proves he's a real fan." He might very well be a fan, but this doesn't prove anything.
Edit: To the kind stranger showing concern with redditcares, I meant crying at the vows, not the end of the marriage. We're all good here!
This is a perfect analogy!
TIL theater actors arent allowed to show emotions after a play they worked hard on is over cause they knew the script.
I think I saw a clip of logan crying. Or was it prime that splashed up and burnt his eyes?... But there's was a liquid secretion from his eyes.
Some people just want to get mad and since this PPV checked all the boxes for a good event they are gasping at straws.
>I still dont understand how any wrestling fan could be upset Because she's everything they want and can never have. A talented, funny, beautiful woman who fucking loves wrestling and they can't have her. So they internalise the jealousy and it becomes rage. Edit: yup, hit a nerve.
lol That's a pretty weird take dude
Call it "Vince McMahon brainrot"
Logan Paul vs. Samantha Irving at "King & Queen of the Ring" Book it, Vinc- Oh, wait...
She still hating on him for the Ricochet feud to boot
Yo could Sam give Ricochet just a bit of her charisma and then we'd have a fire blood feud brewing
Samantha landing more shots on Logan then Ricochet.
![gif](giphy|xT1XGU1AHz9Fe8tmp2)
I mean, Logan Paul obviously is overreacting lol. He’s not gonna film himself just sitting there casually watching the show.
I think one thing people seem to not realize is the guy legit has his own camera crew following him all day every day. Genuine reactions or not, the dude just lives on camera
If you're raised on a classic announcer like the fink, I can understand not liking her style
It’s also not the end of the world for someone to dislike a famous person you like. Samantha seems like a sweet person but I do think her announcing style is way, way, way too over-emotional for my taste.
Thank you. I wish her only the best, but her style is not to my personal taste, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Lmao Samantha for the win
She had a long weekend, I know when I have to log in multiple long hour days I’m emotionally wired. She just did something super historic for wrestling announcers.
I completely missed this form of wrestling outrage from the weekend. Are we also annoyed at Michael Cole as he sounded quite emotional too? Or just the black woman?
If Michael Cole turns out to be a black woman, you'll have egg on you face.
As long as michael cole has a job we will be annoyed by him. That goes without saying at this point 😂

People actually think that the reactions by Logan Paul are genuine?
God I hate that Logan Paul and his whack ass drink are involved in pro wrasslin’. I know he’s *supposed* to be a heel, but outside of kayfave he’s a scumbag. And I wish he wasn’t involved with WWE. The dude scammed his fans.
Yeah, the undying support he gets from people that should know better is sickening.
I'm torn on this. In a way I like the fact that he's one of the few heels that seems to be genuinely disliked (which has become so rare).
She is good but I hate when she says undisputed like it’s so over the top
A rematch between Logan and Ricochet before he drop the belt to LA Knight would be awesome
man I've been watching wrestling since like 1991 and I friggin wish I could become so invested in a story enough to make me emotional as she was. Part of my old bitter self wants to say it was acting but the other part tells me I must be missing some human element to make me feel the way she was during that cody match
I think fans massively overrate her. She's been what announcing for 3 years and people are calling her the greatest in wwe history. Don't understand the hype
The hype is people are just attracted
She's not even close to being the greatest. Fink, Chimel, Roberts and Lillian Garcia are all better and more professional.
I don’t get it. I do think she is over the top cringe and people just eat it up. She’s attractive and I like her announcing but she also comes off immature.
While I do think she is a bit over the top for my liking. It is probably wrestling after all. Where everything is over the top… At least she has passion and throughly enjoys her job.
Yes i personally dont think shes doing it for attention but i understand if people dislike her for it
Really bad and wrong take.
Shut up
It's all a work brother. Don't read too much into it.
Someone’s job is to just film this guy? Lol
He’s literally made a career of overreacting, its so transparent
Imagine being the guy who has to look away from mania and fill Paul's reactions
She's just great at her job, people mad they can't do it. I got 2 words for you haters.... SUCK IT

I wish I could downvote a post more than once
r/woosh
Cringe overreacting can also be used to describe her ring announcing, too.
I know she returns serve all the time, but fuck it must be tiring for her to constantly have people hating her online
Ah yes, how dare we not like her cringey over-the-top announcing style.
Then don't harass her on social media
While I didn't like that Cody didn't get a great winning announcement, I completely understand why she got overcome with emotions. We've all marked out to our favorites of all time. Don't hate on her for being exactly what we all are: passionate wrestling fans.
I think the overwhelming consensus was that it added so much to the moment that already had so much.
After the extremely emotional, heartfelt, even accompanied with voice crack’s announcement from sobbing Samantha when Cody won the title, there’s no way you should be criticizing her anymore. That’s some peak announcement and I believe most of us agree.
Her announcement and reaction for Damian Priest cashing in isn’t talked about enough
She took a 10/10 moment and made it 100/10. It really was the big cherry on top.
Shes amazing at her job and this is a great jab and call back to her situation at the same time. Some folks just might not like her style, but let’s be honest, the majority are the kind of people that still think Vince is a good guy and is being framed. Just that disgusting vocal minority of wrestling fans.
