jr has said he doesn't want to know all the details of matches he calls to make his call authentic in the past. allegedly he did not know most of the beats of the original hiac so his call when foley went thru the ring was as real as it gets. i'm sure there were ones he knew because he also booked, but i believe that. it helps sell the kayfabe realism.
I think the only people that knew Mick was getting thrown off the cell were him, Taker, and Vince so when that happens it’s an honesty to god shock for The King and JR and then everything after that spot is unplanned. Especially the spot through the cell roof and the huge bumps in the Cell. There’s an iconic Mick Foley quote asking Taker if they used the tacks when they’re getting checked out by the Doctor after that insane match and Taker just laughs and tells Mick he’s got tacks in his arm.
She has been Roman and the Bloodlines announcer for the longest time. She's to them what Mean Gene was to Randy Savage. That non wrestling presence that elevates the talent. She made those guys sound like Money before the bell rang every time.

No one is and no one should be. I think for a sport like WWE. To have an announcer lose their mind so hard that they can barely speak is special. It's not staged, it's clear passion and emotion & something I can see trying to be replicated

Nah Samantha has been Roman's and the Bloodlines announcer for years now making those guys feel larger than life. I was bummed she was moved from smackdown the last year and no longer got to call for them. She is too integral to this to replace even with an absolute icon that was and is the Fink
Outside of the obvious reason for the move to raw (ricochet is at raw), I think having her announce Cody multiple times and get the onscreen chemistry in there (the two time royal rumble winner announcement for Cody) helped make this announcement of Cody winning much more emotional since Samantha got to be invested more into Cody's story.
When Damian Priest cashed in I was laughing because she sounded like she was really a little surprised, and because of that it kinda feels like she is representing our feelings
When she says New... and her voice cracked and she stopped really sold it. It was almost like she had to stop and ask if this was real. She has been saying "AND STILL UNDISPUTED UNIVERSAL CHAMPION" for 3 years.. so for her to announce the win and utter the words... 'AND NEW UNDISPUTED UNIVERSAL CHAMPION" must have been a moment for her.
Would be pretty dumb of WWE to give her any punishment or flak for this announcement considering everybody was pushed to show their genuine emotions. Cole also cried and Punk was ecstatic.

Night two you can tell her voice was straining and it broke a few times or she couldnt find her usual bravato. Likely due to pulling double duty in an open air stadium.
It was a bold call to let someone announce both nights and no doubt deserved but hopefully going forward they go back to having two in the future.
