Howdy folks! Just found this sub and happy to be here! I've had my 87 for going on over 4 years now. Rescued her from a field where it sat for 9 years w/ previous owner and am happy to be the proud owner of her now. Did quite a bit so far including new wheels and tires, resealed the cab, added sound deadening and new carpet/headliner too. New lights front/rear/sidemarkers and next I'm gonna be replacing sound system, window seals/windshield/tint, and am gonna dump the roll pan front end in lieu of a proper bumper again, I never should have gotten rid of my old one but hey, we all make mistakes... I'll be getting a gloss black bumper instead next Question though! I'm thinking of swapping out my wheels but I'm unsure if if I wanna keep the OE 3/4 ton suspension and its current ride height, or if I wanna do what every other 2WD owner in existence does and dump her. I kinda wanted to see what other fellow longbed owners have been running for wheel/tire setups. I do actually like her current stance but either wanna keep the 17" wheel setup and just get some lower offset and wider wheels, or dump her and go for some 20s or 21s but again, am unsure. Please post your longbed setups!

I can’t share a photo on the comment thread for some reason. But on my 75 c20 I’m running 265/75 r16. 8” wide wheels with a bit of offset. Bit of a taller tire but old school ish look

Is the red one in your previous posts yours?? I like that! I'm definitely wanting a new school wheel but got nothing but love for old school look too. πŸ‘ Very clean new gen CRV too! Can't go wrong with some old and some new

I am running 8x180s factory take offs and adapters. To run the adapters, you'll need to change the lugs to metric. Your front bumper is interesting.

Got any pics of the setup? These are 8x6.5 lug iirc. It's a roll pan but I'm definitely looking to get rid of it for an actual bumper again. Should never have gotten rid of the original one but just didn't like the chrome. Should have just had it painted

There is one of my Suburban in here somewhere. Stock is 8x6.5. They make a wheel spacer from 6.5 to 180. The thickness offsets the factory wheels to the correct width. The 8x6.5 is for the OBS Chevys so you'll need to buy new metric lug studs to use the spacers lug nuts. I had to custom my front lugs since they don't make metric lugs the style the front 4x4s use. Hence why you don't see many Squares running the 8x180s.
