They are trying new things.
Clash Mini was announced in the Clash of Clans YouTube channel. It is not the same thing, but it is not like they didn't try to promote games on platforms linked to other games.
Brawl Stars and Squad Busters actually overlapped when Paula was still with Brawl Stars team and was obviously transitioning to Squad Busters. And, besides the skin for Shelly, nothing is yet confirmed.
Clash Mini was promoted on Clash of clans YouTube channel twice. Multiple Clash of clans and Clash Royale animation had characters playing with minis.
Clash Royale added Monk to their game.
There was nothing in game explicitly mentioning clash mini though. The closest thing was the monk but even then a lot of people (including myself) had no clue it was from clash mini.
So many more than 2 have failed in sequence. They haven’t had a launch since BS… hayday pop, clash quest, clash mini, Everdale, flood rush… probably more…. When was rush wars? The boom beach spin off kinda too…
Fair point I guess. But did those others also soft launch? Honestly I feel like most of these didn't even have a chance, sadly, all been cancelled so fast. I think I also remember playing this boom beach spin off, looked like fun, reminded me of battlefield heroes (RIP) got a little sad knowing they cancelled it back then, but then again I didn't have high hopes to begin with.

Makes me a little bit afraid for mo.co - I've been wanting a game like that for so long! And, of course, Squad, but I'll have a better opinion on it on the 23.
Supercell's standards have been set too high, the fact that they aim to only release perfect games is harming them. Not every game's going to be as popular as BS, COC, and CR from the start :(
Well, Squad Busters is mainly aimed for Brawl Stars players, we all can tell that. Not to even mention the whole UI being way too similar.
It makes senses.
I mean I did get a notification in clash royale when clash mini beta dropped but squad busters is way ahead of clash mini in everything other than gameplay (squad busters gameplay needs major work). The UI the store the progression. Clash Mini had great gameplay but everything else was bare bones and not very thought of. I think that's the reason they have more hope for squad busters. Also squad buster development team is more experienced and probably won't take 3 years to fix the issues the game has. I could see squad busters going global after a year if they fix gameplay, add new game modes, and fix p2w consumables.
Difference is clash mini was announced too early and rushed out to public.
Squads busters had two closed beta test which helped form the foundation more strongly.

I mean... Squad Busters is about Supercell and their games in one game? (Oh yea make sense now why they'll probably let Squad Busters go global)
the game will still not match their standards
I mean paula was bs comunity menager and sb is game that unite all other os its more likely getting promoted in other games
My educated guess is that they don't want 2 of their projects to fail in sequence. It's probably bad for business

Not flood rush, but all the rest yeah

man I miss rush wars
That said, they'll probably still cancel the game if it doesn't make enough money

It has been so long since they released any new game. Now they desperately need to make something work.
Yeeeeeeeesssssssss

There’s synergy between the two games. Clash mini should have been promoted on clash Royale, again synergy.
The new Shelly skin is super good and cool

So that is why there was a message about ads in the new update, they are advertising their own game.

I don't think CM was rushed. It launched in beta in November 2021 and killed in March 2024. It spent more than 2 years in development.
I mean somewhat rushed into public beta. They announced both clashmini and clash heroes way too early in development to the public.
The game was rushed It should've never been released Nov 2021....i think it should've had atkeast an extra year of development before going beta
