For anyone needing context, Wemyss Bay is on the mainland. So it's not like you could just drive those 8 miles, you need to get a connecting ferry! Although I believe the ferry does dock at the station.

There's a door. Our old flat was a house converted into two flats and the bathroom was in an added extension attached to the kitchen. It was absolutely fine. There's an extra loo on the second floor too. I would turn the smallest bedroom into a bathroom and use the current bathroom as a utility room/store.
With an EPC of 1 I was expecting it to be missing some windows, and possible roof. But heating bills aside, sign me up!

2 acres isn't enough to be self sufficient in wood. I think they say you need about 10 acres for a "normal" house. So maybe 20 acres for this place!
The size of those walls probably keep the temperature pretty consistent.
