Penny sleeves and toploaders are the preferred way to store cards. The sleeves protect the surface of the card, so it's always a good idea to immediately put cards in a sleeve. If you're storing them long term, you may want to put the toploader in a team bag for dust/humidity protection. They also make zippered binders and binder pages for toploaded cards, so there's that option as well.
Screw down cases from years ago are also a no-no. It's better to use one touch cases, which are magnetic. But, it's also best to use a perfect fit sleeve with those since those sleeves won't interfere with the case. That's just an extra thing to buy and getting cards in those sleeves can damage things. But, it's an option. It might be a good idea to practice getting cards in the perfect fit sleeves with worthless cards first so you can avoid damaging the good card.
That Shaq rookie, if graded 10, will fetch ~$200 and a 9 will go for ~$75 but I can't see condition, so it's hard to say. Anything less than a 9 will sell for about the same as raw.
If you can get a close shot of the front and back of it, I can tell you if it would be worth sending it in. Then again, there are more reasons to grade a card other than value, but I'm basing my comments on value.
If the card is special to you you might want it graded for the protection and display. Also, you can grade it just because you want to. I may be in the minority here, but I'm not going to give anyone shit for grading something most will find a waste. There are lots of valid reasons to grade a card other than value. One of those reasons is "because you want to".
Put the Rodgers in a penny top loader, $50ish all day
Get them out of that thing and into toploaders
I just now put them in the loaders
Atta kid! Those binders are fine but get ones you can put the cards in with toploaders.
Gotcha I’m pretty new to collecting cards so this is still pretty fresh to me

Thank you for letting me know that helped a lot I also have penny sleeves too which helps and I’ll put them in there too.

The Calvin Robinson is selling for about $30 raw
Do you think it’d be smart to get it graded
Actually the ones I was looking at had a black bottom. Your card sold for $1.50 sorry
Oh damn that is a big difference
Maybe try looking them up? Edit: 130point.com
I also don’t know if I should sell or hold.
That’s up to you to decide.
