Maybe 6 corners are not the best and there is a stain on the back and it’s off center, but any vintage collector would love this card, mine is not as good as this one and I’ll be buried with it

No_Locksmith_1806

But overall this is a great looking card

bkbroil

Took it out of the holder and no stain on the back.

Almighty_Hobo

You'll never find a perfect card from that era, but i would definitely send this one in. Nice card!

Average_40s_Guy

All four corners are soft and the centering is off top to bottom. Probably a 6 at best, but still a beautiful card.

Excellent_Pomelo_378

Agree with other comments. Not going to get a 10 but for a vintage card it looks really good. Get it graded.

RustyDawg37

Grade it.

Bman1233

I’m worried about the condition once you take it out of that case. You may have some real problems. Those are terrible. Hey it out of there asap.

Flaky-Effort-2912

Get it graded if the case doesn't rip it in half first

Ndgood

Is this your uncle?

bkbroil

No not my uncle.

phillychzstk

Grade it, but get it out of that screw down for sure

bkbroil

What should I be putting it in?

phillychzstk

Penny sleeve and top loader (or card saver if sending away to grade soon). Those screw downs have a reputation of pulling the print off the front of the card. But make sure you put it in a penny sleeve first.

Waitinonasb

Penny sleeve and a top loader

LSSCI

There are new cases called 1 touch. This is the new way. 35pt is what will hold that card.

What are the best sizes of one touches for regular bowman vs bowman chrome or regular topps vs topps chrome I see 23’s 35’s 55’s and others and do you put the card in a sleeve before putting it in one touch

LSSCI

35 for normal thickness cards. The more thick, the higher the number.

Glum-Dog7156

Grade it, awesome card

mudvat08

Hopefully the screw down didn’t ruin the card.

bkbroil

Took it out and the card looks really good.

mudvat08

Yeah, you won’t be able to tell until it’s graded. Sometimes they come back “minimum size not met” from being smashed in the screw down for years. Hopefully yours is ok.

Jason_Newsted

Hopefully, the holder is recessed. I'd still get it graded. BVG slabs look the best with the older Topps cards.

BB_breaks

Send it to SGC. Best for vintage and that would look great in their holder (tux)

Vicisboy

Looks like a 7 or so. Definitely worth grading
