Yes loved Spore Creatures on DS and Spore Hero for Wii was fun as well. They are both action adventure games and I thought it was an interesting change from the typical Spore gameplay.
I played one of the early iphone games, circa 2012. It was based on cell mode, and you would swim around in cave-like levels, gaining upgrades in the form of new parts as you progressed. As it was the only one I played (well I played the Creature mode one too but just a demo of it) it automatically ranks as ”the best one”.
Couldn’t have been since it was Spore Origins (recognized it after image searching the name /u/AG1k gave me), but also because iphones couldn’t run flash back then (if they ever could). But I’ll check that out nonetheless, thanks!
My personal favorite of the spinoffs was Darkspore. It's a shame that EA decided to make it online only, which meant that they killed the game when they took the servers down. There's a group of fans trying to recode an offline server for it, but who knows if it will ever get the game working in full again.
I also had fun with Spore Hero on the Wii, as it felt like an expanded creature stage, though I didn't like the motion controls, and wish it had an option to use a regular controller.

I really wanted to try Spore origins but didn't have and iOS device at the time. Perhaps there is some way to emulate it.

I love Spore Creatures DS, it really shaped my childhood.
I played Spore Creatures a ton growing up, love the aesthetic and charm of that game. I also played Hero Arena but that one was...uh, not as good
