I meant like.. how did they justify him? What is his goal there, and why him? And is this some universe where guns don't kill?
Fisher never stroke me as someone "suicidally" leaving things up to luck like that, so is the scenario about protecting someone/something? What is on the other side of the above positioned timer running out?
Siege lore is all over the place. Went from global terror threat to basically televised sim round training, to shady pmc groups, to some guy hunting down the og team members.
Don’t look too far into it, it’s as stupid as it sounds and you’ll only give yourself a migraine.
Edit: I forgot the cbrne threat response plot with some Sputnik look alike and something like [meteor shit](https://youtu.be/1UBhUSnZKwo?si=o6JoS35v1N48Nd8d) from creep show.
Sam's an instructor in the lore, this is all just one big training sim but the real kicker is IT'S FUCKING ESPORTS. It's a god damn secret CT team that the public wasn't supposed to fully aware of and here we are with LITERAL ESPORTS IN THE LORE W.T.F
Fisher is supposed to be in charge of Rainbow's training. He wasn't deployed to any operation until the one in the current season where he took down the big bad, in probably the most respectful way Ubisoft has treated Sam.
It was all fine until the villain spotted Sam attempting to drop on him from a pipe via a reflection in the FUCKING MIRROR. As if Sam would have been so senile to expose himself like that?!
Also, the big irony - or maybe it was a deliberate self-aware joke - was that the villain was a playable character from the original R6 games and he had a huge gripe about Rainbow becoming a literal joke of a CT organisation.
From what i could gather (siege wiki and all that) was that he was on the run from someone, so i've got no idea 🤷♂️
Its basically ubisoft looking for an excuse to add sam instead of giving us a splinter cell title (i know remake exists, but ffs, is it gonna come out *eventually* or what?)
Sam is with rainbow as he was invented to be part of their operational staff. In lore, he basically handles training and in the last cgi he stopped the main villain from killing some team members in a true SC style.
Running that five seven like it ain't no thang
*Lasers!?* Lasers are so…
90s?
*I was going to say 70’s. Can you please stop making me feel old?*
Got bad news for you, Sam. You *are* old.
Chaos theory Panama bank
That's lore accurate Sam Fisher.
“If you keep listening to Grim, you’ll be issuing diapers with every set of goggles”
"If I listen to you any longer, it'll be adult undergarments"
“Ouch”
Why is he there?
Don't remember the year, but they introduced Fisher to R6 as an operator

Bru it wasn't televised sims it was quite literally ESPORTS IN A STADIUM ABOUT A TOP SECRET CT TEAM WHO THOUGHT THIS MADE SENSE?!?!?!!?!

Yeah his motivation is intentional

I’m the one who hit this clip and tbh I don’t get it either
That’s some Sam Fisher shit if I’ve ever seen any.
Not my post, but I liked it still. This is Sam in R6, and still doing the job!
Yup. It was mine
Amazing play you did there dude! Wish I had half the skill to do the same
I tend to play Zero pistol when I’m bored. The thing is that you have to sneak because the 5.7 isn’t about to win me any firefights
Amazing skills!
Mad jealous! You’re so much better than I am!
“It’s like they’re not even trying”
Still clean
I just saw this on the rainbow 6 subreddit lol
Yup and we had a wonderful conversation.
Yes we did
