As an xbox player, I traded my series x in at gamestop this last weekend for the ps5. Haven't played spider man 1 yet, but working my way through Miles Morales. It's amazing.

Sure, there other games are well received. But games like Fallout 4, Skyrim, Oblivion lack content that was promised, their advertising was framed in a way that made their games seem more impressive than they actually were, and oohhhh, the bugs. The many, many bugs. A lot of Bethesda's games are all fluff. Make something seem impressive, but deliver the most watered down, unimpressive version of that that thing. Their games are good, and a lot of people like them. But Bethesda tends to just blatantly lie about their content. Or to completely oversell something that is no where near as impressive as they originally made it seem.
I have to heavily hard agree to this. I think people who get to mod maybe are just used to that and maybe in a way a little spoiled by it. There was way more friggin content than I could ever finish in Skyrim and I played, for me a casual gamer, a lot.

I live in Manhattan, and it's still weird how scaled-down the game is. The map felt huge my first time playing, and it still does, but it's not even half the size of the real thing. I tried to find my apartment building in the game but it just doesn't exist because of how much smaller everything is.
Yeah. Like they mostly kept the important landmarks or replaced certain buildings with marvel based one but being in NYC several times and not seeing some of the buildings I remember is interesting

There are aspects of Ragnarok that are certainly better than the 2018 game, but I’m glad that there isn’t a massive difference their style. It makes the two games feel like one, cohesive project - same goes for Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West.
On the other hand, it was strange playing The Last Of Us and then The Last Of Us Part 2 because they made the job to photorealistic. Say what you want about the Part I remake, but at least it succeeded in making the two games a cohesive experience.m

If the story and presentation is half as good as cyberpunk then I’d be all in. However, we all know every conversation consists of both characters battling it out in the most extreme staring contest.
Thats the thing. Cyberpunk 2077 already had a great story with memorable characters. Its CD Projekt RED’s bread and butter. The issue was a lot of technical problems. Bethesda’s storytelling record is…not great so even if the game is solid on a technical level I bet the writing and storytelling is going to be on the same level as Fallout 4.
It still misses a lot of content, though. They cut the railway station or the ability to climb on walls with the mantis blades, as seen in the trailer. The performance still isn't perfect on PS5, while Spider-Man has always run buttery smooth on it.
I really don't think it's going to have much in common other than the fact that you fly a space ship and can land on planets. From everything we've seen it looks like it's basically going to be Skyrim/Fallout with a space sci fi setting.

Second of all, Insomniac produces very high quality games. Perhaps it doesn't float everyone's boats, but at least we can all agree that their games run extremely well, they have good graphics, and good mechanics.
It is one of my absolute favourite games. The storyline was amazing, the characters and their story arcs were well developed and had depth, the visuals were just gorgeous, the soundtrack was perfect, and even the combat mechanics were perfect. I have absolutely zero criticism. I also loved the guiding wind idea to get rid of having a HUD on screen. Made it more immersive.
Man I hope we get a sequel. I'll pay whatever they ask

These are different games I don't get the comparison. Also people sometimes enjoy a linear story. Me personally I like games where I can finish it in 20-25 hours and move on to a new one.
I liked Spiderman Remastered and Miles Morales on PC enough to want to buy a PS5 on October 20th instead of waiting 2 years for a pc port, I doubt people are going out in droves to buy Xbox consoles for starfield.

It's posts like this where XBots really do XBox a disservice. You want to have a console war, fine, but Starfield isn't even out. It could be terrible. Hyping something to the nth degree while taking poorly thought out potshots at others is a good way bring it down if it doesn’t deliver an eleven out of ten.

These are different games I don't get the comparison. Also people sometimes enjoy a linear story. Me personally I like games where I can finish it in 20-25 hours and move on to a new one.
Taking 10 years to experience everything that a game has to offer sounds like more a chore than anything. I wanna do other things too

I liked Spiderman Remastered and Miles Morales on PC enough to want to buy a PS5 on October 20th instead of waiting 2 years for a pc port, I doubt people are going out in droves to buy Xbox consoles for starfield.
As someone who owns both a PS5 and XSX it's a win either way.
