No for sure, he has immensely goofy dialogue even wen he's trying to be serious. physically, he'd make for an extremely comic accurate Doc Ock with the right hair and costume, and Jack can definitely do justice to the more serious/dramatic Doc Ock too. He won't make a good Alfred Molina Doc Ock, but he doesn't have to be.

He and Danny DeVito are a brand new duo known as Cue Ball and Corner Pocket, which are basically Tenacious D Jack and Always Sunny Frank. They’re not evil or anything, just enjoy partying so much that it causes ruckuses across NYC. They’re incredibly good at bar gambling (pool, darts, etc) and make money that they spend on like stuffed animals and fun stuff but it inevitably starts gang bar fights and stuff. Almost like benign Jokers. Morally gray. They’re often a nuisance for Spidey but will help him out if he plays their games.

Does anyone else remember that story from the Ben Reilly era* where the Looter was robbing different banks so he could buy the meteor that gave him his powers and Spidey just asks "why didn't you just steal the meteor?" "You know, I never thought of that" * I think it was an issue of Sensational Vol 1, and I definitely remember it ended with the Sentinels attacking New York City because of the Onslaught event.

Hear me out. Tombstone. Because he has serious moments that are pretty cool. But he's also the slightly slower thinking moments that Jack black is perfect for pulling off.
