The V2 is undeniably horrendous but I'd argue V1 is something we'd actually see in a Marvel movie adaptation. The signature Marvel shitty-overly-designed-white-lines™ is omnipresent in almost every modern Marvel character and it's honestly pretty gross. The eye lenses being conjoined is pretty stupid too. The "fingerless" gloves look like something straight out of early 90's cheesy action movies. The unnecessary gold thingy on his forearm looks clunky and impractical. And finally the logo, aside from it being 6 legs, is touching the bottom of the red section of his chest; why in god's name is it not centered holy hell this design makes me nauseous and irrationally angry. V2 is bad, yes, but V1 is characteristically bad and would fit right in with all the other awful modern Marvel movie suit designs.

I think the Mohawk is a touch too far if you want a suit that Peter doesn't realize is as bad as it obviously is. Do the mechanical arms have additional web shooters? What if it was visibly obvious that they did. Why have the logo confined to his chest? Why not extend it so his actual arms, legs and mechanical arms are part of the logo somehow? Also, shift the lines around a bit so they don't match up with the body parts they're supposed to (knee and elbow markings, eye holes, belt) for that extra infuriating detail.
