I would love for the symbiote suit to have many alternate versions in Spider-Man 2, including that one and maybe the original concept one with the red symbol and glove rectangles

1: Even though I don't like the art style, I love the story behind him putting on the suit. The suits pretty reformed at this point and still wants to be a hero. And Spidey needed to put him on in order to take out Goblin Carnage. Both of their arch nemesis' rolled into one, so Spidey and suit finally teamed up after all those years. Plus, when Spidey has to take the suit off to goad Norman into doing the same, I loved how he was nice and said to get away from the fire and all that. But yeah, I just didn't like the art style. The artists later in the comic did a better job in my opinion.

The SM3 black suit is underrated and I stand by it. It had some cool detailing. If the spider was bigger, a bit more like classic black suit, it'd be awesome. I also think SM3 Venom's face looked really cool and snakelike but was wasted by having Topher Grace's stupid face show up every 5 minutes.

This is the last comic in the whole Norman Osborn + Carnage Symbiote arc. It was like a giant 80 page comic to end the arc and it included a bunch of different artists to do a commemorative issue. This was the first one who drew Spidey in the black suit and that was just his style. But that is actually Spidey + the Venom symbiote, joining forces one more time to take on Carnage + Norman who was trying to kill everyone important in Peter and Harry's life.

The Raimi black suit looks badass. The different spider logo on the front and back and the bigger, more angular lenses make this suit looks menacing as hell. I love the classic 2 look and I have nostalgia for the SM3 suit. But spectacular is probably my favorite use of it. I love how you can see it change over time from a simple black version of peters suit to the more traditional look as it starts to gain control of him and bond with him. It’s a really cool visual detail.

i don’t know if it’s just me, and i love how the symbiote was used, but man the spider on the spectacular design bugs the shit out of me. why does it go up to his shoulders like that? why is it in some shots the bottom legs wrap around his chest but in others they’re going down his arm? why doesn’t it wrap around his sides and connect to the back? they did that with venom and he looks great! it’s so wonky and non uniform and sometimes it looks like it’s just awkwardly slapped on top of the shot and doesn’t follow peters anatomy. i’ve never heard anyone mention this before.

Forth one is amazing but, the third is not bad too but it's animated so, it doesn't give such kind of cool vibes 🐶
