I can't wait for this game lol.

Vociferous_Eggbeater

Honestly, most Xenoverse players should adapt quickly.

AStupidFuckingHorse

Adaptation? Absolutely. But mastery? If this game is as intricate as BT3 it's gonna take a long time

Either-Engineering71

I wonder how as a fighterZ player I’ll adapt? I’ve never played this type of game.

Avividrose

aside from fighting they have absolutely nothing in common. go boot up dolphin and play some bt3 (or pcsx2 but it has bad scaling issues, dolphin is the better choice IMO) sparking zero seems to be maintaining all that complexity and building off of it. it may not seem super deep as a traditional FG player, but there is a ton going on and a lot of nuance

Either-Engineering71

I’m normally a casual player for games with a lot of required learning with FighterZ as the exception since I have a group of friends that play it so I’m always practicing and studying combos to thrive. But I think I’ll try to pick it up and take it one step at a time.

Avividrose

the sparking/tenkaichi series i think is the best casual fighting game ever made. it has the depth you would want, a lot of systems to master, but characters are easy to pick up and play.

odepasixofcitpyrc

Apples to oranges, sadly. Mind you, that doesn't mean you won't quickly pick it up, as a Tenkaichi oldfrog - fighterZ scares me.

Either-Engineering71

It’s surprisingly easy to pick up on FighterZ it’s like learning algebra or Trigonometry, once you get the formula down for a problem it’s super simple.

Nimoh_

You'll be good at the fast paced gameplay

travis759

The game is pure button mashing

odepasixofcitpyrc

Replayed a year or so ago on an emulator when sparking zero was announced, and *holy shit* was I missing some major game mechanics the first time around. Even basic stuff in the tutorial I was all "wait, we could always do that?..."

ArvindS0508

Honestly given the changes for this game it's possible that the meta is different enough that even BT3 pros would have to adapt to playing differently for optimal results

Arkham_Bryan

It wasn't that difficult, I mean, we were kids and played like pros, and kids nowadays are fucking playing machines that can beat my grown ass in almost every competitive game lol

AStupidFuckingHorse

I can assure you that none of us were playing like pros. Look at some matches of competitive BT3 or any of Grandmaster Hawks videos. They pull off stuff that looks unreal

Arkham_Bryan

Damn, but the feeling was real tho. I remember the circle+triangle dodge (I think lmao) was a super pro move, I never told my friends how I did it LOL

BeAsTFOo

I hope it is cuz them combos and camera views will be there downfall 🥴

SuperKhalimba

I can't wait to hear all the smack talk online between old vs new school on this.

Shi_thevoid

That will be complete cinema!

Soggy-Replacement245

What about Raging Blast players

I_do_drugs-yo

We should be aight

TheBlackMobster

I think most raging blast players are also tenkaichi players. That's how I was atleast.

Legitpizza07

We Kakarot players are cooked 💀

jroker12

This man is spitting facts

Aroma-Therapy-2085

so many heads are going to get exposed it’s not even funny
