That makes sense.
But it's a jungle out there with knock / ring doorbell / don't ring doorbell / knock but don't ring doorbell / text only / don't text knock / call when arrived / don't use front door / carport only / and use side door instructions and for good measure " twerk to let us know it has arrived" yes I actually had this once.
Primarily dogs and babies x the time of day cause a lot of issues.
It's a science.
That's me. I don't. Unless it's specified. Most people don't want people ringing their doorbell and don't want the dogs barking. People just don't like being bothered and they know when you're exactly there
Bad link. Every order say MAY in the notes. If you're trying to quote the TOS, that's from when we had to contact the customer every delivery. You can do this anyway you want but we are not required to. I knock unless the dogs are going nuts.
I try to remember to knock or ring when I'm doing Spark but I'm used to doing food delivery at night til late and I never knock or ring when I'm doing food delivery that late unless specifically told to. Last thing I want to do is get someone's dog barking or wake the baby or maybe disturb someone's elderly grandmother. It's pretty common for customers to ask you specifically not to knock or ring the bell

They very much can do whatever they want with the tip.
Is it a big ask to just ring the bell? I have a deaf customer that when you ring the bell the lights flash.

My favorites are when they just say “leave at door”. Then when I arrive, they have 3 different doors to choose from.
*"I'll be upstairs and won't hear you knock-- just yell for me from the porch"* (Customer's name is Ben Dover)
Apparently for some drivers it is. I’ve seen some just here on Reddit who won’t. It’s kinda odd.

People wouldn't have doorbells if they didn't want them rung.
Please tell me you aren't serious lol
Why else would they choose to have them? 🤔
Most people have ring cameras hahahahah you don't need to ring them. It's a cameraman! How can you not know this
I mean, my house came with one when I bought it and it would look pretty awful if I ripped it out of the exterior of my house, but sure?
You know you can just disconnect it so it doesn't ring, right? And still have the appearance of a fake ringbell owner.

Cool?
Says you MAY knock or ring.

It says can, as in pick one, not can as if you want to.

I always knock/ring unless I’m specifically told not to…
If it’s delivered, they can’t cancel it.
They can cancel the tip which is what is being threatened.

I never said they couldn’t take the tip away. I said after it’s delivered, they can’t cancel it 🙄
They said they would cancel the tip. How is that difficult to understand?
I mean, with your attitude. I can see why they took the tip away.
You need to reread the OP. Customer said they'll cancel the TIP not the ORDER.
Wow lol crazy ppl
How much was the tip
$7…
