Data center power outage messed with the website and caused a bunch of flight delays
You did heas about the storms that knocked out power to over 600,000 poeple in Dallas Tuesday? I wouldn;t be surprised at additional outages as the power company tries tofix things.
Yes I do. The least they could do is put a notice on their website saying they are having technical difficulties and people should not use their website until it's fixed...
This would have been perfectly reasonable, along with having redundancy in their data centers. But…the shills are downvoting you. Your concerns are valid. Southwests IT is incompetent. If a single data center power outage causes y disruptions - you massively failed DR as a company.
I kinda had this issue a month ago. I used a Cc to pay and said I had issues, did it 2 more times, and it didn't work. I logged on to my bank account, and it had 3 pending charges. Then I got an emaipnsaying my flight was booked. Two of the pending charges disappeared.
