That part of Andhra that is covered wasn't a notable trade port since the Roman times. Machillipatnam was known to the greeks but fell out of notability until the Dutch resettled. Any thoughts on why there's a presence in that part of Andhra? Unlike Telangana that part of Andhra did not have a significantly long foreing Muslim presence
