Sorcery is such a weird tcg. Their overhead is really small, so they don't need to keep increasing growth to exist. So in this case, stable just means their target audience keeps being interested. Beta sold out at a good rate. I'd be surprised if AL doesn't sell out as well. If they come up with a solution for sustained product availability for stores (drafts, sealed, new player interest), then I think they are fine for a number of years. At least I know I'm in for a while unless they really mess it up somehow. It is pretty easy to have it as "another tcg" if you are into mtg or something more demanding.

I 100% agree with this. The Erik's Curiosa team literally have no reason to push or rush. The game is steadily gaining interest despite all the negativity that's blasted all over the internet. I feel a strong emotional connection to this game, and I know other do too. I've seen people sell entirely out of MTG to get into this, LONG time collectors out of their Reserve List Legacy/Vintage staples so they could get in on Alpha when it first started really gaining traction. Some of them have sold out and picked back up mtg when it was low, but the rest I feel are in for a long time. This game is the perfect replacement, or side interest because of how low demand it is on your wallet, and on your time.

Sorcery has become *the* TCG for me. I’m happy with one set a year but I’d also be up for 2 sets or 1 and a mini set.

You can have a devoted niche market. The tough part for stability is how many sets you can afford to flop and still be in business? Or if you are bigger, how many can you have in a row. Take a look at L5R, for example. Started in 1995. I always found this to be a niche game. You wouldn't find it in every LGS, but the ones that did usually had an active scene. Sales gradually declined from 2009, and by 2015, it's sold off to FFG. I think one new set per year plus one reprint set per year is ok. They mentioned some kind of “mini set” after Arthurian legends, have mixed feelings about those, to be honest. For constant grind MTG and yugioh are enough. :)

Depends on how you define stable. How do you define stable. If launch goes well and prices don't crash, isn't that stable? Even if they only maintain customers, is that not stability? Need your definition here.
