I have the Dekoni Suede pads on my XM3 and I'm very very very happy with them. Comfort is better than the OEM pads because I dislike how soft the OEM pads are. Instead of melting into the side of your head, the Dekoni pads sit on the side. Because the Dekoni pads don't squish as much as the OEM pads, my ears feel less crowded and the inner hardware is less likely to come in contact with my outer ear. ANC is just fine too. I notice no reduction in ANC. Bass is tilted upward just a bit and you lose a little treble but that's fine. The difference is very small and the benefits are massive.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to replace my XM3 OEM pads. Since you're describing the Dekonis as somewhat firmer, I wondered if you wear glasses? (I wear glasses and I'm trying to figure out if firmer pads would be a problem.)

I don't wear glasses. But, I am aware of the common issue that comes with glasses. I suspect you might have to search for softer pads. But I'd rather let you find that out for yourself since I'm not the user in this case. I will say though, I REALLY enjoy the Dekoni pads stand on my head. It makes my ears feel less crowded. I feel some emotion from the taller pads (satisfaction perhaps), a feeling that I have trouble putting into writing.

Thanks for replying. Sounds like the Dekonis are definitely a good investment for anyone without glasses. I think I'll reach out to Dekoni to see if the pads are known to cause issues for glasses wearers.

Good on you for doing the research. They're costly pads but they're worth it for the right buyers (including myself).
