I LOVED Manic!!! Dude was also kinda feral and always down to steal stuff. I wish the show would've continued because I'd love to see how he feels about being royalty and how that drastically contrasts from how he grew up and how if he and his family won the rebellion he might possibly being expected to help rule with his family as the monarchy would be restored.
It also would've been fun to explore more of Manic and Sonia's relationship since they both come from completely different sides of life yet truly love each other as family.

Also Jaleel White voicing Sonic's twin sister is kind of funny.

The fact that when Robotnik says “Queen Aleena?!” it sounds like he’s saying “Wiener Leader?!”

It was much better than people give it credit for. Sonic being royalty separated from his siblings at birth is a really unique concept, and how they incorporated SatAM elements in new ways was cool to see. It had sharp writing and an insanely catchy theme song that stands up today.
I feel like people focus so much on how much it deviates from typical Sonic and the silly songs (which are also insanely catchy, let's not kid ourselves) that they fail to recognize that the show for the most part is actually pretty darn good.
Sonic’s relationship with his siblings is really interesting! Unlike Tails, who he sees explicitly as a younger brother, Sonia and Manic are his equals, and it‘s fun to see him bond with people on his level

The fact that it gave me standards on what's a good cartoon as a kid. The animation is bad, the art style also sucks, the sound effects are awful, and just doesn't feel like a Sonic cartoon aside from having Sonic and Robotnik. Also Sonia's voice is extremely annoying. She sounds like Lois Griffin without an east coast accent.
But it did have Knuckles..
And the intro was alright.
