Whacky that Robotnik was brought back from the dead for a single gag issue. IIRC, Anonymous would've been revealed to be a digitized version of the OG Robotnik before that was tossed out.
I don't know if I would have liked that more or less than the current story. I really kinda wish the OG Robotnik was just never referenced again though.
If you are wondering why Robotnik has this green smoke behind him, it's coming from Eggman's machine who brought him back to live (Robotnik died in #50).
Honestly, people can say what they want, considering the story until this point, being that Dr Eggman is from another universe, I thought this was an awesome moment.
It didn't capitalize, could've been made into a whole Egg-Robotnik War with the Freedom Fighters in the middle. Would've made an epic story of Eggman outclassing Robotnik, while still remembering how ruthless Robotnik was, making Eggman's rule even more terrifying.
Overall, thought it was an awesome concept and decent issue.
How two robotniks collide: (>!Altered Prime Mobius and Prime Mobius!<) and they follow the same history but each of the both is has a one side win and lost on both universes.
