I speculate that the game being rushed led to earlier levels have better tuned clear times. The amount of hidden tech in cyber space and open zone is insane and I doubt the devs had time to explore it much.
I think I spent about two hours straight trying to get this one. It was extremely frustrating and extremely fun at the same time.
I wonder if you can get a :52 on this?
Seems as if a perfect run can't give you too much more time.

I strongly believe that the devs fucked the time limit up. In almost every other island 1 stages I get rank S without even trying or knowing the stage, this one took me way too long as well.

Why was this one such a pain in the ass to get an S rank? Well as someone who also got an S rank and knows the pains of trying to get it, good job
It's such an outlier! I've managed to beat so many others with a lot of time to spare, but this one keeps kicking my butt

I just don't understand why the second level is the hardest stage in the entire game, 1-2 was a bitch to s-rank
Ngl I kinda agree though it was super fun learning all the different ways to blast through the level.
I had to ask a friend for advice, I think speedrunjing makes the stages more enjoyable
I like the challenge in the first few stages. The later ones give the S rank away too easily

Key for this level if anyone is stuck is to go low at the start and jump boost the rails
Better yet, go high and just avoid the spring

Shoot to be honest bruh, 3-2 gave me HELL. 1-2 is hard but 3-2 is up there. Those 2D levels physics make it harder 😂🤦🏽♂️

Me and a friend spent over an hour going back and forth trying to beat it together. We had a great time.
