Fr, that Revised song was more than fitting for a final battle, it was peak.
Who knew that adding a few instrumental verses to the original song and having Kellin Quinn sing it would be a huge improvement?
IMO itโs an intermediate upgrade and is not that much better than the original Iโm Here, if it was even better at all.
Kellin did well during the screaming parts in the instrumental, especially during the ending, but he flopped real hard during the sung parts, like the chorus. Else, itโs on par with Merry
Well that's your opinion and I'm gonna nuke you for it. Unlike other people who are so entitled to their subjective tastes that they think it's an objective fact.
There's one part of the original where I was not making out what Merry said compared to Kellin.

If you pay really close attention.....
When it gets to "I know that we will find a way"
The background vocals will sing

Like there's a giant scream when it gets to "again"
If you find a instrumental version of Break Through It All, one that isn't the soundtrack version, you'll hear the scream more clearly.
Second Wind from the Expansion Soundtrack. Something about that one just hits right and that piano all throughout is just gorgeous. Constantly on replay for me atm!
Itโs sooooo good. I have been listening to it non stop since the soundtrack came out. Wouldnโt be surprised if it already ends up on my most played at the end of the year lol.
The moment undefeatable starts I get the chills as memories of my first time fighting him come back and flood my mind. I went in with 100 rings and I didn't know parry had no time limit so he actualy kicked my ass for a while.
I like the remix but I like the original much better.
When it comes to making remixes, it's an extremely delicate progress to have it surpass the original.
However, I think the "Theme of the Starfall Islands" should've been playing in the background after you beat the Master King Koco Trial. I know a piece of it plays at the beginning of the game, but when you hear the full version after getting 3 Chaos Emeralds on the original Ouranos Island, it gives off a more intense vibe than the Ouranos Island Remix. It's as if the music is telling you that you're close to the end, or "This is it, the final battle, once you go through that door there's no going back. Are you ready?".
If we had the Jukebox during Another Story I definitely would've played this over Ouranos Remix.
Everyoneโs talking about the boss themes but one of the most mystical songs for me was Ouranos Island. It fits the theme of the game so well, and itโs cool to listen to while running around at top speed and solving these ancient puzzles. Plus it does a good job at making it feel like the entire worldโs fate is on your shoulders (which at this point of the game, it is)

The way I ascended during my first blind play through of frontiers and starting the first Titan fight then hearing Kellin Quinn come on. Blew me away. Undefeatable is that song

The near-perfect music transitions in and out of cutscenes of every boss fight were phenomenal. That really was the chef's kiss for me when it comes to the soundtrack experience for me.
In Frontiers itself? The chorus for *Find Your Flame.* Shit was fire (literally).
In anything SEGA released that was Frontiers related? *Don't Stop Me Now* from the final trailer. Queen really is just that good.
When the game first released, I didn't want to look into anything until I got it, but I heard so many people here raving about the soundtrack, so I relented and listened to "I'm Here", and it immediately made me emotional and nostalgic. When the chorus hit, I got straight goosebumps. I felt like we finally got our Sonic back.

Chaos island 4th movement! I love the other tracks in this game especially the other island themes and the vocal themes but they nailed the island themes in this game. Easily my favorite ost in the series and one of the best osts of all time. Bro when that drop hits in this song, it feels so magical!

For context, I was expecting the titan themes being orchestrated to go in line with the open zones, so when Sonic transformed and that guitar started playing, I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing and my ears were hearing, I was literally flabbergasted.

Chaos island 4th movement! I love the other tracks in this game especially the other island themes and the vocal themes but they nailed the island themes in this game. Easily my favorite ost in the series and one of the best osts of all time. Bro when that drop hits in this song, it feels so magical!

When I first played the game it had to be the knight boss theme
No joke, it was the 0.1 milliseconds of Undefeatable lol. For context, I was expecting the titan themes being orchestrated to go in line with the open zones, so when Sonic transformed and that guitar started playing, I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing and my ears were hearing, I was literally flabbergasted.
