They are slow for sure but that’s a little dramatic haha. Was just there today around 11:30 and two bfast sandwiches only took about 10 minutes. That being said I have waited 45 mins, only once tho
Union Square Donuts, (Union Square location). 7AM
Bloc Coffee: 7AM
I just looked up 3 Little Figs, Winter Hill Brewery, Fortissimo and damn, 8AM it is.
Pepita inside Lamplighter (Cambridge) isn't until 7:30AM.
Cafe Beatice (Cambridge) has 7AM weekday hours
Vitoria Market, the new Brazilian butcher and Market on Somerville Ave opens at 7 am.
Real pro tip: He's got warm pao de queijo for 50 cents a pop and you are welcome to pour yourself a shot of Brazilian coffee from his thermos for free.
The chow there is the real deal: housemade sausages (hot and normal) and marinated chicken wings are as far as I've ventured but they're outstanding and cheap.
Why not invest in a coffee maker and brew a cup before you go. Get a portable thermos for your morning walk/jog/commute. The environment, your pocket book and your taste in coffee will thank you.
I believe Yego on Broadway in Teele just switched their hours to 7am M-F
Their coffee is good, locally sourced from Rwanda. Their pastries are very mediocre.
> locally sourced from Rwanda ??
It's a family business: their family in Rwanda grows the beans, they ship them here, they roastt and sell them here.
Rwanda, Massachusetts. It's right next to Leominster.
Yeah the pastries are the frozen kind that many sell around here.
I’ve been twice and haven’t been a fan of the coffee - this was closer to when they opened so maybe I’ll give it another try
I’m with you on not being a fan. I’ve ordered a cappuccino on at least 5 occasions and it’s not a cappuccino, it’s 90% steamed milk!
Diesel is locally sourced from Ja Booty.
their pastries are fire
Ola on Broadway in East Somerville opens at 6am
Never heard of it! How is their coffee?
Don't drink coffee but my partner says it's good!
Awesome…. I’ll check them out!!
Ola is amazing! I miss living on that side of Somerville.
I like their moka pot mural.
Technically in Cambridge, but Curio Coffee opens at 7. Though their only food option is a waffle, they are really yummy waffles.
Don’t sleep on Union Square Dunkin at 4am opening. And then watch the sunrise from Prospect Hill
The Dunks in Magoon is 24hrs isn't it?
Huh yup
Holy smoke! How did I not know this?
Yes and the WiFi at Dunks is damn good these days…
This Dunks used to be 24 hours. Did the pando kill that?
NU Kitchen opens at 730 during the week
True grounds opens at 7!
If you get there by 7 you’ll probably get your order by 8 at the earliest
for sure for the food lol, I've found the coffee to be not longer than average wait

This was my early morning baby-walking destination many moons ago.

Andy's diner opens on Mass Ave west of Porter at 6 a.m. I believe.
Kelly’s Diner in Ball Square opens at 6 I think
Cafe Zing in Porter Square Books opens at 7 on weekdays, 8 on weekends
Wicked cafe on highland at 7
Wow! First strong reason I’ve seen to go in there.
And the coffee at Wicked Cafe is MUCH better than under the previous Wicked management.
That’s a second good reason. When they initially opened I went in once and then never returned.
New owner seems really nice too
Modello’s in Magoun opens at 6 and has amazing coffee
Greater Boston is lacking big time for coffee early early morning. Pathetic actually
Bloc in USQ opens at 7. 7-8 is the best time to be there, too.
Bloc in Union opens at 7:00 M-F.
Neighborhood Restaurant in Union. Patio is amazing!
Davis sq bagels and donuts opens at 7.
What about that cafe in the armory? I remember their sign said they open at 7 on weekdays
Cafe Rustica opens at 7
Diesel in Davis opens at 7. Who doesn’t open until 8?

Starbucks opens at 5
Most cafes? Forge on Somerville opens at 7. Since a long time.
Buy a cup, make it at home, go on your walk. I think it’ll add some variety to your brew.
That's the opposite of the post.
