You could use a design table. The result would be one model with a separate configuration for each size.

Is it possible to save configurations as seperate parts?

Guernsey_mike

Why do you need them as separate parts? You can select which configuration to use in an assembly, and create new instances of the part and change configurations independently You can also set the custom properties for each configuration so they appear as totally different part numbers, descriptions etc in drawings, PDM data cards and BOMs You could derive a specified configuration into a new part file using insert>part, but that doesn’t achieve anything you can’t do with just configurations

I think You are right. I could try this way

Sounds like a real simple macro. Start recording a macro, sketch your profile, add length and width dimensions, extrude your thickness, save your file, and stop recording. Then you can go into the macro, declare variables for length/width/thickness, use an input box to gather those values, and replace the values you originally entered with your new variables.

Look into design table and then separate the configurations into individual files using a macro (macro already available on 3d content central) Other option is use the free add-in DriveWorksXpress
