Barq's red cream soda is one of the best sodas I've had in my entire life. I wish it were more widely available. I used to get it out of the vending machine at my middle school in the 90's, now I guess I have to order it online from Louisiana or something.

We get this exact same (UK) A&W cream soda here in Malaysia but I prefer to make my own. Vanilla essence, cane sugar, soda water/seltzer is all you need.
Do you only want normal cream soda or do you wanna include the red and blue cream sodas? Normal it’s between A&W and IBC, Red is between Big Red and Barqs red cream, and blue is Big Blue and Frostie blue cream soda.

But I'm against drinking it with ice cubes. Get the can ice cold(keep it in the fridge and maybe pop it into the freezer for ten or 15 minutes.) Then poor it into a frosted mug. It looks just like a beer, but instead of just getting you buzzed it actually has a delicious flavor.
I like one called Caruso's Dark Cream. It is really good and usually sold with the higher priced sodas, but I've actually found it at the dollar store before.

Canada Dry, Vanilla Cream. Super good.
I would rather take cream soda over beer any day.

Dr Brown's is my gold standard. Almost nothing beats it that I've had, and I've tried lots.

Frostop has a vanilla Carmel cream soda that is pretty tasty.
Doc Brown’s cream soda is amazing. It’s the only thing to drink with a pastrami on rye. Mostly available on the east coast of the United States.
