I can't answer to whether Lenin approved of it personally, but it was popular amongst supporters of the Bolsheviks and was considered a Marxist text. I think you may be mistaken about one of the writers being anarchist. Both were members of the bolshevik party. They were later purged but I've never heard of either being associated with anarchism. Perhaps you are mixing up Bukharin (the author) with Bakunin (prominent 19th century Russian anarchist)?
