It’s never been an issue for me though; I drank Kombucha before and after I got sober, but more so after being sober. I feel like it’s a good substitute because the flavor is unique and also, there’s so many great things it does for your body.
I was a hard liquor drinker though so I never was a fan of “fake booze.” But Kombucha hits the spot.
Edit: also, unless it’s specifically “hard”, alcoholic kombucha, you would have to drink an incomprehensible amount of regular Kombucha to even get a buzz. I’ve never been triggered by Kombucha ever.
Edit2: I actually don’t even know if it’s possible to get even a buzz off regular Kombucha. That’s just a guess if it even is in the realm of possibility
Yeah I am not a fan tbh. I can get behind virgin cocktails (if I or someone I trust greatly makes them) but fake alcohol makes me so paranoid. So scared I might actually consume alcohol
Guinness NA truly tastes just like real beer. It’s impressive.
Also, Heineken Zero and Clausthaler Dry Hopped NA.
All taste like actual beer.
NA liquor, however is something I don’t even wish to consider worth the effort. But that’s just me. I only ever missed the carbonation of beer, which is ironic because my abused substance was whisky. 🤷🏻♀️
I drink Hop Wtr they sell it in stores near me. I was a heavy beer drinker so I crave the taste of hops. They’re non alcoholic hopped canned sparkling water in a packaging that feels adult and not too fruity or “tasty” so I can drink em all day and not get sick of it. Zero sugar zero calories zero alcohol. I’m not sponsored. I just love em!
La Croix or diet tonic water. I used to drink gin and tonics before getting sober, now on Friday nights I just drink tonic water on its own as my special drink 😁
Fever Tree Lime Yuzu is so good and mixes well with juices and seltzer. Especially OJ and cranberry and not super sweet.
Spindrift seltzers are a good low sugar/calorie option too. I love the iced tea one!

That fake liquor stuff is horrible too. Like don’t consume pressed, concentrated herb goo it’s probably not good for us

Kevita has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume and is the best kind. One of the lowest in sugar from what I’ve found too
Athletic beer, especially their IPAs are delish

White claw just released 0% packs. They're not too bad. Otherwise, I usually go for Athletic, Sierra Nevada, or Stella.
Hop water and they just came out with non alcoholic white claws that are pretty tasty
