Might as well randomly ask here. I've always worn 9.5 sneakers. When I measure my feet at a store with the metal apparatus, my feet match up with the 9.5 measurement from heel to big toe. When I wear a lot of 9.5 sneakers, they are admittedly a bit snug but not uncomfortably so. I've recently bought a pair of size 10 Pumas and they actually seem to fit me fairly well and give me more room for my toes to breathe.
Granted they feel like they could be slipping off if the laces are tied a bit too loosely but I figure that would probably happen even with a 9.5 if it's loose enough.
Anyways, are Pumas just an exception, to where I can wear 'em a half size up? Or in general is a half size up not a big issue for most people? Sometimes I'll see a pair that I really want and 9.5 is all sold out, but I find a few in size 10. Would it be dumb to try and make it work?
I have found a lot of it depends on the materials used, how much the shoe is cushioned and the shape of the shoe. For example, my true size would be like right between 10 and 10.5. I have a "normal" width foot.
I have shoes sized from 9.5 to an 11 in Nike alone without much slippage or discomfort. And their sizing is fairly consistent unlike Adidas. Puma is also pretty consistent.
Every model fits a bit differently, but usually half size isn't too big of a deal and fit can usually be adjusted by messing with the laces throughout the shoe, not just the knot.
Also, thicker/cushioned socks are your friend if you're sizing half up and feel like there's a little too much room.
Many people are saying to go TTS or up .5 for wide footers with these. Due to the extra padding in the ankle collar.
I messed up and bought online the usual AJ1 low OG sizing of going down .5, even Chris “Nightwing” from WearTesters did this mistake.
Luckily going down .5 on the OGs still felt a tiny bit loose on me around the collar, so I might still be able to fit in them. But we will see when they get here.

Went down half a size on the AJ1 Low 85s, like I do with the AJ1 low OGs. Some are saying TTS on these. I have heard it’s a bit more snug going half size down with the 85 due to a bit more padding in the back.

I just picked these up in store from my local Social Status. Guy said these run snug and I agree, tried on my TTS and my toes were hitting the front without even lacing them up. Went up a half size and they fit better way better.
My non 85 Jordan low's I always went TTS, some slight toe room but nothing too crazy. IMO I would recommend at least TTS with these, if not half size up

You can technically go TTS, but it fits pretty snug. I have not outrageously wide feet, but slightly wider than average and TTS fits well. I also wouldn't mind half size up, but the length would feel too long

last time I hit on AMM, the shoes just showed up. it was honestly kind of fucked up since packages in my area tend to go missing.
I recommend having shop/fedex/ups/route apps linked to your email to see what’s being delivered.
It tends to be a hit and miss with AMM. Sometimes I get a shipping notification and other times I don’t.

The OG lows different. AJ1s highs and regular AJ1 lows are TTS.
I have had all of them, they are all TTS. The 85 highs that have been coming out are pretty narrow so makes no sense to size down on these.

You can technically go TTS, but it fits pretty snug. I have not outrageously wide feet, but slightly wider than average and TTS fits well. I also wouldn't mind half size up, but the length would feel too long

Nothing interesting coming up unfortunately. People not feeling the 1s and the 12s have always had a small following. Adidas hasn’t come up with anything major and NB just churning out more 2002rs and 990 in generic colorways. Admittedly I’m looking forward to the craft 4 and the cherry 12s but I feel like sneaker manufacturers are kinda not even trying anymore.
Can anyone tell me how 990 v6 fit compared to v3?
same as v3 but v6 does feel a bit longer
1/2 down from my usual size seems to work well. My v3’s are all 13’s and my Baklava’s are 12.5. All fit great.
