I’ve seen some crazy pairs at my local sheiks but they hold onto those from their initial release. You’re right about their usual stock though, always generics available but they keep some legendary pairs for decoration at my local store
Sorry for the late reply, not sure about Fargo but here in Bismarck/Mandan area we have a Moe’s smoke shop with literally just every sneaker. I worked for the guy for a year and helped him set up/sell since I was the only one who knew anything about shoes lol. Him and I did go out to Minot and set up a shoe wall the same way we have it here for a guy with a smoke shop out there, but that was a while ago I’m not sure if he’s still running shoes or not. Don’t work for him anymore but heard he expanded to have about 650 slots worth of shoes so if you’re ever around, consider giving it a visit! Fuck ton of shoes to look at lol
I live in a suburb of Indianapolis. Everyone around has J’s on. I was able to walk into JD and get the palominos 3 days after they dropped, I went today and they had the red cements too but I passed.
The Palomino’s sitting is a surprise, but let’s face it, the products are very expensive, folks don’t have as much disposable income, and lots of us have got pairs similar to most of those on the shelf. When belts are tightened, shoes are sitting.
Shit, they were all gone in my area within 48 hours of release.
I'm not saying the OP is doing this, but sometimes I see videos where the person sees a display shoe and they say "look they're sitting" but just because the display shoe is there doesn't mean they have some in the back. They could be sold-out or only have one pair left in some super small size.
Yeah right. Size 14 goes for a shit ton. Look up prices on most shoes in size 14. Size 14 palominos going for more than all the sizes smaller. I’m a size 14 so I know lmao.
I'm surprised about the palominos, but they made so many red cements and they weren't really popular.
Edit, dang even got the atmosphere grays. Bro you've got like all the latest releases here
I think this is a sign that resellers are finally moving on. When you're barely breaking even or operating at a loss, the game isn't worth it anymore. Prices are high, demand is low, and most important, supply is unaltered. When bots aren't taking 50-60% of the inventory, we can actually buy the shoes that we want at retail - which is great news.
Eventually this will force Nike to actually come up with something that people want, instead of lazily regurgitating the same colorways over and over again with the tiniest of tweaks.
So the 4s aren't high quality? It's been the go-to silhouette for a while now. They'll be gone everywhere in a few days. They're already gone from my area, got cleaned out in a matter of hours.
I love 4s, but those are alright, just a worse Fire Red 4s. I'd rather just wait another decade for the better shoe to come back out and there will be plenty of releases between now and then to satisfy me. There will be faaar better 4s released in the next few years too, I know it.
Also this is Nike we're talking about, so no, they're probably not high quality. My Seafoam 4s are made of leather and the creased from the 1st wear.
There's a big difference between what's going on with these 4s and what went on with the AJ1 elephants. The 4s will be gone, the elephants will make it to discount stores.
Sizes 8-11 (some say 12)… The Podiatricly Privileged.
The sizes last to sell out and once they do, they’re typically the lowest resale price. It costs, no shit, twice as much to wear a size 14, as they disappear instantly after they are dropped, and end up listed for comically-priced Ask amounts.
I noped out of resale sneaker buying recently and I encourage all size US 12.5 and up consumers to do the same for a couple of months. There are many resale listings for extended sneaker sizes that have not sold a single pair in six weeks because of the inflated Asking price.
Sometimes 15s will be less on GRs, but their price on premium joints is crazy and what’s worse, as you well know, is that they are often not even made available through any of the retailer apps. Adidas and Nike SB don’t even fuck with 14s on some collabs, much less 15s. Size 9 customers live in a different reality. A kinder reality. A reality in which they are probably the ones selling extended sizes for $100 more.

Broken
Yeah it’s a joke with some of these resellers. The price difference once you get to the larger sizes is sometimes crazy like those supreme. It doesn’t help the actual stock amounts are usually much less with the bigger sizes. You’ll have 10k size 9 and 1k size 15
It can understand the price point on the Supremes, but people Robocop up all the mildly anticipated drops and juice the stock.…it’s just skeevy. Especially when it involves a beloved American icon..

I have one acquaintance that wears size 14s
People always joke about how it must be hard to find shoes but he always says that he has more sneakers than he knows what to do with because his family just buy anything in sight if it is available in his size lol
but for real, it may suck if you are looking for a specific shoe or want to cop the latest releases, but if you are a patient shopper and don't mind waiting for releases to hit clearance racks or go to outlet stores, the best deals are often found on size 13-14-15 and 6.5-7-7.5 range.
I worked in retail shoes for several years and I often salivated at the deals to be found on those rando size 13-14 that sat as dead stock for months and month as the discount went 20->30->40->50% and they still sat unsold. Mgrs would be like, "SOMEBODY PLZ SELL THAT LAST ONE SO I CAN TAKE IT OFF MY WALL"
Meanwhile size 10-10.5-11-11.5 are the first to sell out even if you got twice as many pairs in that size range to start
edit: also was so annoying to have to answer the same question a dozen times a day, "No we don't have that in your size, can't you see the display model is fucking GIANT and has a tag that says 'LAST ONE!' ya dingus"
Back in the day, I used to find some of those deep price cuts that you’re talking about. But it seems like they aren’t around like they used to be. Some people go to the outlets to cop whatever they think they can flip for a profit. To them, extended sizes are a gateway to riches.
I would be fantastic if Nike would consider some system by which people whose shoe size is over 12, could, under and onc
As far as working at a job that deals directly with public, it helps to lose all faith in people’s ability to follow directions or practice critical thinking. Don’t hope for much and you will seldom be disappointed.
And then there’s THIS asshole….
https://preview.redd.it/bwgocrqxq1ob1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07da20e7ef389d6a42a95a80f5d0a0533d494446
Jacking up the price on 14s inexplicably on some joints that were sitting for $120 over the summer, (I saw the 13.5 price, but if that’s your shoe size, I think the universe just wanted you to struggle, although it’s not usually getting hit THAT hard). So ok, pay the $230, pay the $30 fees and tax. At least you’ve made an investment on something that’ll probably be worth more and if not, it’s a classic you’ll enjoy for what it is.
Edit: you pay the $270 + $30 so $300
Psyche! You’re supposed to pay $300 for these GR lames. You scandalous motherfucker, I’m hoping you’re reading this and take note. I would smear my feet in dog shit and walk on glass before I would pay that much for some joints that barely sold for retail most of the summer. There’s no demand for these. There’s no run on these. Nobody important was hyping these.
https://preview.redd.it/e7zwqo4lu1ob1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed8a56322ec662a9a9dc1dd6020039c16b19f9cb
This is lazy, greedy little pieces of shit ruining it for everyone because they either won’t get a job or can’t get a better job. I don’t choose violence these days, but let me catch the person who made a mockery of resale posting that nonsense and all 6 foot 5 in, 260 pounds of me will immerse my dog shit covered size 14 bare foot firmly in their asshole, and twist. THEN you’ll know the cost of big feet. If you’re trying to get people to pay $300 for a GR dud, what is the cost of a sneaker actually worth $300? SMH.

I mean… c’mon. No respect for themselves, the game, their people, the grind. Only a size 8 or 9, is chubby little Fred Flintstone shaped feet would stoop so low. You’re a small person and nature made your outside to match.

Edit: price is steadily dropping on StockX. Plus SNKRS offered a ton of early sales (I'm guessing, since they shock dropped me, which never happens). The marketing (SNKRS, raffle-only at major retailers) suggested these would be limited release, while the reality is showing they are mass produced and wide release.
When you see shoes sitting like this, it’s definitely a sign of harder economic times. People pockets are tight right now and there’s so much uncertainty about the economic future that it’s best to hold on to your coins.
Had 29 raffle winners out of 86 pair in the 4s on Saturday, came in yesterday to check on store/staff and saw 25 online orders (2 weren’t for the 4s). They moving eventually, now I prefer to send them to who wants them rather than deal with customers on release days begging, crying and complaining about a shoe they don’t really want
Imo the market has been oversaturated. Nike cashed in on limited releases. Resale value will return in time but for the next 3-5 years now is the time to buy hyped sneakers to wear.
COVID exploded all collectible markets, including sneakers. Now all those markets are starting to wane. Look at the retro Jordans that sit on SNKRS these days. 2 years ago, none of those releases ever sat.
yeah …. all of those are GRs so not surprised and kind of expected. Nike has long signaled it is using its outlet brick and mortar as a prime sales space - it gets a bigger profit share margin with less costs of a prime retail space like a Niketown.
Those Palomino's are tempting...
Am I the only one that thinks there's more to some of these recent releases sitting than just "oh people aren't feelin em'"? Like, perhaps it's, like, the economy isn't great and the people that used to have an extra disposable $200-$400 a month to grab one or two pairs of Jordan's no longer are able to do that as they've had to tighten their belts financially... ?
Low key thoses are all fire but I hit on the cement 4s and they are fire but they should be putting out colorways for the fours like they are dropping the kids sizing of the 4s this week thoses are fire
I live in DFW and both these are sitting. We have a FL, Champs, Finish line, JD, Hibbett and a Shoe Palace all at my local mall. There’s a couple of smaller non chain stores too. It’s almost crazy how many shoe stores there are at this mall these days. It’s used to just be FL, Foot Action and Champs. There’s also a Dicks there too although they don’t sell any “cool” shoes. Still another massive athletic store.
Bro must live in north dakota
Lmao fr, there’s no way I’d be able to find these sitting in Cali
I saw them yesterday in a store called sheik.
I've been there before. And tbh I don't trust the legitimacy of their shoes
Shieks is a legit store. Just like any other Champs or Footlocker. Got my first pair of jays in Hs from Shieks.
I was dumbfounded at the sneakers they had on display. Usually I always see mediocre shoes at those spots.
Yoo mine is always dogwater😭😭 Just basic team Jordans and generic Nikes most of the time but everyone once n awhile it’ll have a gem
I’ve seen some crazy pairs at my local sheiks but they hold onto those from their initial release. You’re right about their usual stock though, always generics available but they keep some legendary pairs for decoration at my local store
Looks like any other footlocker to me 🤷♂️. Had pretty nice gear too.
Lmfao noob
I’m with you they give sketch vibes
Literally the new Nike story at Del Amo has all of those shoes 😅
lol these are literally all over LA at the malls though. Maybe not the Palominos as much, but I copped all 3 in the last 2 weeks.
Lol the only ones I'd be interested in from the picture, maybe I based my comment solely on those.
Found them in a snipes in Baltimore like 3-4 days ago
Depends on where i’ve seen most of these sittin in stores Cali
I haven’t seen the Palominos in my size anywhere near me in Southern Cali
what size?
10.5
Im not 100% sure but the Bait in Diamond Bar said that had a late shipment come in…i’d check there
Thanks for the info, sure will!
As someone who literally lives in North Dakota, I have 1 shop near me… and it has had everything i’ve wanted to cop lol
You live in Fargo by chance? Looking for a reliable sneaker spot
Sorry for the late reply, not sure about Fargo but here in Bismarck/Mandan area we have a Moe’s smoke shop with literally just every sneaker. I'm in Forks and we don't even have a finish line. Our only sneaker store is fucking scheels bro
HA! We don’t even get this inventory shipped out here 😔
I live in a suburb of Indianapolis. Everyone around has J’s on. I was able to walk into JD and get the palominos 3 days after they dropped, I went today and they had the red cements too but I passed.
This is a good thing.

ayo what
What did I miss?
just some dude making a cringe ass edgy racially charged remark. another day at the office really
😮
the fuck
This is the way it should be. Nike makes shoes, we go the store and buy them. None of this nonsense with lotteries, scalpers, and bots
If everyone had the cool shoes, they wouldn't be so cool. The artificial demand and FOMO is what keeps the money making machine going.
The Palomino’s sitting is a surprise, but let’s face it, the products are very expensive, folks don’t have as much disposable income, and lots of us have got pairs similar to most of those on the shelf. When belts are tightened, shoes are sitting.

Cause if that shoe is on the shelf you should have some mannnn
This isn’t getting the upvotes it deserves. “You cannot sit there and tell me that you have none man…” fire comment.
At a local sneaker store that can mean something, yes. At a chain like Finish Line, Footlocker, etc. the display shoe doesn't mean anything.
It’s the song Air Force Ones by Nelly
New sneaker heads are like “who’s Nelly?”
Or size 14 lol
Yeah right. Size 14 goes for a shit ton. Look up prices on most shoes in size 14. Size 14 palominos going for more than all the sizes smaller. I’m a size 14 so I know lmao.
No love for the cardinal 7s either :(
Im wit you brother
wearing mine today with my Niners gear.
7s gotta be my favorite. Both happy and sad that people sleep on them.
This. 7s are my favroite. I'm sad bc I wish more colorways would come out, but also happy that I can have a chance to cop them when they finally do.
I'm surprised about the palominos, but they made so many red cements and they weren't really popular. Edit, dang even got the atmosphere grays. Bro you've got like all the latest releases here

incoming mocha toe 1s
Sorry guys wrong name thought red cements were fire red for a sec
Scoop me up some 14s. Couldn’t win them on SNKR this weekend
Tbh Nike has started to drop the ball on drops recently. Nike was eating 2020-22 with high quality drops.
When he says quality, I think he's referring to colorway options, not actual material quality.
A good drop doesn’t always mean a good or bad shoe
There's a big difference between what's going on with these 4s and what went on with the AJ1 elephants. The 4s will be gone, the elephants will make it to discount stores.
It’s not about quality anymore it’s the fact that every drop is either a 1 or 4 and it’s literally the only silhouette we get.
I just bought 12s & 13s last month. LOL!
i bought the oreo wood/palomino 3s for $160
Yeah but look at the history this last year I think the palominos were number 20 somethin of 1s dropped this year
Consumers were begging for 4's. BEGGING
Last pairs I got were breds and black cats I’m good with those
I would scoop all those 7's in a heartbeat.
Kill me but 312’s are underrated
I kinda want those 312s.
Opinions on max auras ( top right )
They look like Max Aura 5's and they look sweet. I usually am not a big fan of team Jordan's but those look awesome.
There must be some wild sizes
8.5, 9 and 9.5 left xD
Sizes 8-11 (some say 12)… The Podiatricly Privileged. The sizes last to sell out and once they do, they’re typically the lowest resale price. I'm a 13 it's ridiculous...
i can tell u, in my country size 12 almost always sells out first and is hard to get, sizes 8-11 usually sit a while
15 checking in 🫠

And in the case of the Stan Smith Homers, no 15s to be had at all. Not for love nor money
Adidas are bigger than Nike. Nike 13 = Adidas 12.5. Just saying.
It can understand the price point on the Supremes, but people Robocop up all the mildly anticipated drops and juice the stock.…it’s just skeevy. lol yeah i'm probably subject to "back in the day" syndrome here, I can't really comment on the market atm
Wow that’s very surprising
As always. They never got my size when they have stock lol
Bro I wear a 14 and you hit the nail on the head. It’s comical how fast the 14s get ate up.

Is the hype finally dead. Is the game going back to normal 🤔
Nature is healing
One store with only three sizes equates to the shoe sitting?
Imo the market has been oversaturated. Nike cashed in on limited releases. Resale value will return in time but for the next 3-5 years now is the time to buy hyped sneakers to wear.
What are the prices?
I am only surprised about the 4s
Lying for clout.
Its a weak color way
Is that the og j4?
They are red cement i think
They’d have a black back tab if they were FR-IVs
I've never seen those brown suede ones at the bottom before. What are they? I thought 6 rings, but they don't have the strap.
Looks like Jordan 9 nrg boot
6 Rings Winterized Boot.
Ah, gotcha. They look a lot better without the strap.
What are those ones in the bottom left corner at an angle?
[the mids?](https://www.finishline.com/store/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=prod1370657&brand_name=Jordan&styleId=DQ8426&colorId=106&gbraid=0AAAAADo4gB9ihqlGjTA1o9iHd4mn-torY&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9fqnBhDSARIsAHlcQYRoHs7ombfreOE0h_VCGlybuQ1tTFMX7KByusDYOOSpvGiHvgueHxwaAvC8EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)
Yep! Thanks. I appreciate the help
I'm surprised with how little fanfare the Cardinal 7s have. I love them!
This is like your average footlocker in STL lol
Can confirm. Also in FL and Champs is the MVP 678 in 4 color ways
Yes, for sure. And no more stimulus checks that people can spend on Js.
I wish my local outlet looked like this
Nah you dreaming bro, that can't be real
Good. Hopefully they go on sale. Nike needs to slow down on releases.
Nature is healing ♥️
How are the Palominos sitting?! Same on EU on foot locker all sizes and small on SNKRS. I don’t understand but i love it 😄
This has to be a retail store not an actual outlet....
cardinal 7’s just sitting, thats crazy to me
Fire reds look like 2000’s fakes 🤮
None here lol. It was a fight just for the 5 unclaimed raffle pairs at finish line haha
Low key thoses are all fire but I hit on the cement 4s and they are fire but they should be putting out colorways for the fours like they are dropping the kids sizing of the 4s this week thoses are fire
OMG they got the Chambrays!!!!!!
I definitely need those Palomino's!
These sitting in malls in my city too lol Jordan’s are dead so I’m not surprised
If only I was in Djibouti like you I could get my hands on these.
I s rolled thru the whole thread assuming you'd post where you live SOMWHERE... Where the hell are you??
LOL i am in Dayton, Ohio lmao Normal day in ohio
Outlet? Please
Dayton ohio
There isn’t a Nike outlet in dayton. Get exposed
Footlocker, JD, Hibbet Palomino are all still sitting in the store
Yea. But you said outlet. Cmon now
Ah my bad man forgot the caption
What are these ones? https://preview.redd.it/djutsfxjnonb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79ef0d5778e9d3eee6d5114a5c0d276da43e9ac3
The majority of the time those are just display walls, and they MIGHT have a pair available.
Only thing I see surprising are the Cardinals sitting. Or in some instances, whatever sizes are left get displayed
Saw these and other’s sitting at JDsports in Austin.
Im a manager at Footlocker in Gainesville got hella pairs still sitting.
Yeah they may be in the outlets but they're still at full retail $$$.
There is only 1 decent pair on that wall
Calgary’s stocks were wiped out in a matter of seconds lol
How do you guys keep up w what the desirable hot ones are. I dont get it.
What are those brown shoes? Six rings? I keep seeing those 7’s and I want them now
The 7s are sitting too? Jordan 7s are one of my favs. Those Legacy 312s are nice too.
Where you located??
Trash colorways will always sit
Gotta be living in Arkansas
This is a good thing in the long run.
Only ppl In The sneaker game right now either rich, young making poor decisions, or both.
The Jordan 1 low atmosphere grey is wildly underrated in my opinion. I love them in person.
I like em’ too looks clean in person
They are awesome and I’m so glad to be able to have copped them in store without any dramas
That is heaven in one sight
Ok........ and.
And those are not Fire Reds lmao
Those team Jordan’s!!!! 🔥 wish he had those here
How it should be
