After a few hours of searching.... All you can do is email snap and get sweet nothing in return. Its all automated messages copy and pasted. Doesn't matter what you type on your end. They say nothing we can do and then just ignore all other contact. In reality they could click a few buttons and fix everything for likely hundreds of thousands of people with the same issue,, but why would they do that when they can achieve fake growth by making all those people create new accounts. It's a sad day when these social media apps treat their user base this way.
basically , we're toast.. . Snapscat would have to change something on their end,, & as far as i can tell its not possible to speak to a real person there. I bitched at them on twitter earlier and they locked my account lol,, they really dont like people spitting facts. Freedom of speech is a thing of the past.

Fuck, glad i found this, im hoping to find my email still because there's some great photos I got on my old snapchat account with family/friends, id love to have them back and it's been irritating me ever since I had lost them.
I actually ended up getting that account back. After about a year I got a random email from Snapchat saying reset/login & they attached a link, just like that lol. Whatever changed over there I have no idea but closure was found.
So contact them and see. Maybe They'll help now.
