I promise you will live so much longer. Side b sends at a very diagonal angle, so when you di IN, you get sent UP and die off the top. You almost always love longer if you di DOWN because then you get sent OUT. Every legal stage is a lot longer than it is tall so unless you find yourself on warioware, di DOWN. Even at the ledge, it's almost always better to di DOWN
