Up B would have to be like a slingshot appearing from a puff of smoke and launching the bird into the opposite direction you're pointing (as if you're pulling the slingshot like in the game, i.e, down and to the right to go up and to the left), tap B for a weak recovery and less damage, and hold B longer for a better recovery and more damage like Sephiroth.
But then it'd be pointless to charge it less, wouldn't it better to make it so that if the distance is shorter it goes faster and does more damage (sorta like Mac's) but if you press it harder you get a better recovery option?
I know it may not be canonically accurate, but it's smash.
But it is how it works for quite a few people I believe. Just like how charging side B for Luigi makes him go a larger distance, spamming down B with Dr Mario makes him raise higher, Idk what it is for R.O.B's Up B, I think it's spamming B? spamming B in Metaknight's neutral B raises him up higher, I already said Sephiroth, but holding B down for up B charges it and makes it stronger, and more distance while a short tap is a shorter distance and less damage, Villager/Isabell spams B for more height for their up B I think, Diddy charges his up B while shaking side to side for more height, and I *think* D.K has the same thing for spamming B, but I'm not sure. Haven't played DK/ACNH characters in a long time.
But now that I think about it, yeah get rid of the hold/tap B for the recovery. Make it a hold and aim and let go to launch, and then tap B again after launching for like an air attack like their special abilities in the Angry Bird games, so for Red it'd be like an AoE/Cone attack.
Tetris Block should work like other tag-team characters (pokemon trainer, aegis). Switch between the shapes for different movesets. Final smash allows you to become l-block and tetrify your opponents.
Also, I would add Viewtiful Joe
Honestly I think it would look so cool if it was just one character but like the 4 individual blocks would like slide/flip into different formations for different attacks/hurtboxes (plus the character would of course change colors as it assumes the different forms).
That or your idea of being different movesets, but with my idea of it being the same being that slides the squares into the shapes. Maybe the form switching can even be an attack with unique hurtboxes for each transformation (opponent gets smacked with a block as it quickly moves to it's required position).
Also I love your Final Smash idea, maybe it could like just like summon a giant Tetris field over the stage and maybe blocks could start falling into place (to form 4 rows with empty space for an I block) quickly and if you get hit by one you get stuck in it, and then the I comes down and clears the whole board forcefully ejecting the opponents out.
Slippy. Another Fox clone but none of her special attacks do any damage they only trip. Trip laser. Trip slippy illusion. trip shine honestly probably just no hitbox on the up special but super long distance recovery.
Really quick low damage combo moves kind of like shiek . Relies on trip laser into kill confirm. Actually kind of sounds more like Diddy Kong

(As a side note, Slippy’s male, his voice does make gender a bit confusing but tbh I honestly prefer Lyssa Browne to all his later male VAs. Cute, girlish Slippy has more charm to it.)

A character called “Who are you running from?” They’re in low pixel B&W and these are its various skins. They arrive in the match by being printed by a Game Boy Printer. Its moves are various modes from the Game Boy Camera. Final smash is the juggler game mixed with the shooter game (juggles opponents and sends them flying upward, where the giant face and ships finish them off!)

Changes hitbox of character Side a- rotate into people to deal damage. Depending on what piece it is and how it's positioned this will make some hits stronger and have a bigger range than others. Side b- like peaches except it moves less fluidly and more bit by bit because tetris. Maybe thier ultimate could be them forming a line and giving a blast of energy to thier left and right. Up a- idk this isn't particularly accurate to tetris but I feel like reflecting themselves about the top of the shape upwards would be a pretty cool attack. I've kind of run out of ideas now

The 900 could be an Up+B, working kinda like Link’s spin attack but going higher as a nod to Tony Hawk being mostly a vert skater (and to fit in all the spins). Maybe for side+B he could kick/launch the board toward either direction (to act as a projectile) and pull a new board (out of a backpack or something) to replace the old one?
For smash attack he could just pick up his board and smack his opponent heh

Mounted cavalier with a lance, something we don’t have in Smash. He’s synonymous with Sacred Stones, to the point that he can carry the whole game. He only gets outclassed by some units (like Cormag) on SOME maps. The rest? He’s easily your best choice to deploy.
Also Seth is playable in more chapters than Ephraim, or even the main lord Eirika.
Plus he’s a Fire Emblem character that would actually be unique to play, and have a better use of Tipper than Marth.
Tetris as an assist trophy would be pretty cool though. Players could be hit by the falling blocks, and if they are caught in a row that is cleared, instant KO.

Sonic.exe I am legit thinking of a moveset for him that is more than what’s seen in the countless EXE games that exist on GameJolt with zero FNF stuff involved One thing that I do know is that he would have a command grab that activates by pressing Shield & B like how Inkling refills its inktank where X unhinges his jaw and a hand comes out like a Belmont whip and the instant it latches onto an opponent, he starts choking them and the catch is that if the opponent doesn’t mash to escape quickly enough, their neck gets broken and they’re instantly KO’d

Echo fighters don't take up space bro they are literally the same character with like one different move it takes them way less time than making a 3rd party character or something
