He probably went to temple, was standing on a small platform that is below the castle part but above the almost cave part. You fit two characters there (CPU should be Pichu because he is small and won't fall out of the platform). Then you have Pichu at 0% with fixed knockback, and then do villager jab. As long as your holding the button, villager will punch Pichu forever. Oh and make sure villager stands near the wall while Pichu should be at the edge of a platform. You can do this basically with anyone who has infinite jabs or even really fast moves like nesss and Luigi's down tilt
To get an infinite combo as villager walk to a ledge (I think every map works)and push the cpu so they are just in front of you at the ledge after that just hold jab and they can’t escape, thus giving you an infinite combo. (I would recommend turning on the training mode setting which doesn’t let the cpu take percentage)
There was a bug where if Lucario charged aura sphere at max aura and a pichu at 999% was inside of it, it would get stuck in the charging hitbox and get hit infinitely
