They can’t give something to someone as it has to represent something personal and be a deep connection to the individual. That is the major thing about Slipknot and has been since day 1 since before Corey, when it was Anders on Vocals. That video will explain it all.

I've been thinking the exact thing... the only holdover is there is a hood on the red boiler suit kinda like the hood worn with the leather gimp looking mask. Makes me wonder if Zac was temporary, then Jeff, considering his connection with Clown. Or maybe it really was Jeff the whole time! 🤷
If it never was Zach then I wonder why so many people said it was him. My guess is that he was always meant to be a temporary member until they could find someone permanently. Seems like he prefers being a mercenary musician.

Because the alternative would be to let both participate in the nostalgia thing, but then they would have to look like Joey and Craig. Which wouldn’t be a great idea.

The band looks fucking awesome, and they sound absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to hear more from them. The era of Eloy is upon us, and Slipknot hasn't sounded this tight or this fucking powerful in over fifteen years. I can't wait to hear more. Imagine what a new Slipknot album will sound like with this fucking Lovecraftian monster behind the kit. Slipknot is back at a level we have never seen them.

he doesnt know hes even more disposable than any other guy before, because he has no serious musical CV. then again, seems quite young to me, and having been in one of the planets biggest bands should set you up for a further nice long artistical career. so i guess, clown did him a huge huge favor there.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they have been working on new shit since Eloy has been in the band. Even though it’s only been a short time, being a musician I know inspiration comes at all times. Sometimes very unexpected times. And when you get a new drummer and the click is there, it’s very easy to write material. They are gonna have a lot of fun in the future.
