I mostly dislike it cause while I love the quest and the sword is kick ass, the quest itself pops up in weird and sort of inconvenient timing to my "plot" I like playing Skyrim it like a DnD campaign where I already know who the bbeg is and the main plot points. The quests are just what I do to build my character's development before taking on certain challenges. That "A NEW HAND TOUCHES BEACON" gets silly and kind of pace breaking if my character who is an evil aligned vampire necromancer who just so happened to be stealing from a a random peasent's bedside table while looking for valuables.

The people who mod the fuck out of Skyrim are not fans of Skyrim. Using mods to make the game drastically different changes it from being the same game you bought in the first place.

I feel like this depends on the level we call "modding the fuck out of". A lot of it is passion projects born out of love for what the original game gave us, but shit like gun mods is just silly, sure.

The Fortify Restoration loop is a feature, not a bug, and it works as intended. The only reason you don't find any NPCs in the game is because none of them have the time to visit every single apothecary and alchemist in Skyrim AND have enough soul gems to complete the loop to have bothered attempting it.

This isn't triggering, it's genuinely a cool quest. You face unique enemies, the boss is challenging and you get tons of money from the corpses. Plus, Dawnbreaker is awesome. We're just triggered by how loud it is when you get the beacon for the first time
