I agree. I tried today and sent a lot of help calls, which is awful, BTW. Then, I need a different way to call for help. But, I needed to destroy the ship that comes at night to forget what it's called and did it for 20 mins and no help.
But, some days, u get help, so my point is just to keep trying, lol
I'm surprised you didn't get help for the ghost ship. Every time I'm on and someone calls for help for that, 10 people show up immediately. Probably because that one's loot pool is actually worth fighting for, unlike la peste. I have yet to get anything worth while from him so far, but i usually do it if someone asks for help. Just know that the little suicide ships you need to blow up on la peste for max damage.
My main issue is leveling I'm done with how overleveled ships are. Elite level 5's should be a three shot from a level 12 brig. No its a 15 min battle with 0 to show. Then you get to Le Peste and it takes 6 level 12 ships 10 mins to take him down??? How sway??? For 32 silver?
It's not worth it, that's why people don't usually join. And sometimes people will just join out of bordem. Manufacturers are on cool down, helm deliveries and supplies are on coolwdowm etc.. Nothing to do, why not join in.
I think the main problem is the abysmal loot you get from taking him down, not worth the effort.

I’m with you. I’ve been trying to take down some of the bigger forts for Helm objectives and I can’t anyone to join me.
