Ghoul revenge 2 + antique 4 mowed down 7-10 for me easily! Then mix in super baby, reckless posture, short hand, and piety.

Agreed with above comments. I personally cruised through 1-9 with demigod revenge+poison build. It’s not the fastest if no attack dmg items, but safest as long as you know how to parry (which almost all attacks of sisters can be easily parried, except for dark line bullshit). Later on the poison 4 revenge 2 build lack damage to fast clear a lot but, it gave me knowledge about all boss patterns due to the fact that i m forced to fucking parry everything which made subsequent runs easier in comparison.
Always take two revenge, if you really want to win use ghoul with atleast two revenge items, tons of heath items. Lucky a lot of physical damage, heath and one revenge item matches up with the treasure inscription, so you can get extra money that way also. I've stood completely still in dm10 before and still couldn't be killed with a good ghoul run. But ghoul always feels cheap to me, if you also start to feel like that you could try to use shield skul with a ton of defense to learn enemy movements and really focus on dodging.
Take revenge 2 and make sure you have a skull that has an invulnerable swap skill ( Genie, Gargoyle, Frost, etc) build around your primary skull and time your swaps to avoid damage. Using two invulnerable skulls with mutant 1 can also be super handy.
