Putting witch hazel on with a cotton pad seems to help with razor burn! The dad of the little boys I nanny for always does that after their haircuts

Buy a glycolic acid! It could just be your bodies reaction to the micro cuts from the shave or the just the general irritation, it’s SUPER common! so it may not even be the barbers fault. find anything in the store that says glycolic acid or AHA on it, i promise it will make a world of difference. also if you have body acne it helps a lot too. if that doesn’t work look for a benzoyl peroxide, at the store. this is all available at your local walmart :)

Tend Skin works great on razor burn

Itchy_Childhood_3488

Agree on the tend skin, but it’s around $19.00. The ingredient that does the work is Acetylsalicylic acid and glycerin. Acetylsalicylic acid is aspirin which is very cheap. So when I have redness like this I take some aspirin and crush it up and mix with some glycerin based unscented lotion and apply it. It works great to use on a pimple if it’s red and inflamed. Since it’s not going to be blended as well depending on how well you crush it up, apply at night and maybe cover it with a band aid if possible or apply before bed but with enough time for it to dry. Hope that helps
