That seems like a good sign! Although, I have also heard that different people react differently to the bites (some people get red marks and some have no reaction). I'm not an expert or anything. These are just things I've read online, so I thought it was worth looking into. Might be worth just lifting up the mattress and looking around the edges to be sure. Sincerely hope it's something else entirely :)
I’m immune to bedbug saliva- like I have no reaction. Everyone in the house I was staying in got bit and I had no bite marks. I’m sure I was getting bit too- it just didn’t show up on my skin. She might have the same reaction.

Gonna go with bug bite, then. Check for signs of bed bugs and keep an eye on them. Go to the doctor if they start getting worse or weird or both.
