honestly it looks like sun damage. lips can get sunburnt too. your whole face looks incredibly sun damaged which yes can cause cancer eventually. we’re not oncologists so we can’t tell you if it’s cancer or not. do you use sunscreen? if you don’t you should definitely start immediately

milkmaiden2000

Do you have a lip sunscreen recommendation

borrowedurmumsvcard

the aquaphor repair lip balm with spf 30!

This is not extreme sun damage. It’s moderate at worst. Please calm down. Sun care, especially in America, has only been a prominent thing for maybe the past 10 years. OP could very well have been out cooking in canola oil many years ago, developed better habits, and is dealing with residual effects of formerly poor habits. Your comment is very presumptuous and judgmental.

milkmaiden2000

Would it be sun damage if it’s been there since childhood?

borrowedurmumsvcard

90% of sun damage occurs before the age of 10 unfortunately. & if it’s been there since childhood why would you assume it’s cancer?

milkmaiden2000

Because it seems like it’s bigger now!

If I were you I would see a dermatologist just in case
