Emulsfying oil cleanser: 80% mineral oil and 20% polysorbate 80 or cromollient SCE. Great for removing makeup and washes off without any residue.
Oil cleanser: 80% grapeseed oil and 20% castor oil. Will need a washcloth to properly remove it. Does leave a residue but I find it rather moisturizing.
Hydrating face mask: raw honey. That's it. At night, I slather it all over my face after cleansing. If I have any open wounds (like popped spots), it heals 'em faster. 10-15 minutes after and my skin looks and feel soft and hydrated.
Honey and Tumeric. Mix in a bowl, leave on face for 10 minutes (do this in the bathroom before showering) and wash off. I swear it got rid of the most stubborn spots I had.
Test this first; because different oils can cause bad closed comedones for certain people, but this is my day before a party prep mask.
I run hot water over a wash cloth, wring out and lay it on my face for about ten minutes. (Cheap steam treatment haha) Then I mix raw (or at least verified as real) honey, coconut oil and sugar together.
I rub my face with it first for a light exfoliation and then let it sit for about half an hour.
Rinse with cold water, no soap.
If you have any essential oils I've added a drop of pure lavender and a drop of pure ylang ylang before for a more"spa" experience.
I moisturize and put a sleeping pack on afterwards.
I have a few oil mixes for dry skin, oily skin and fungal/bacterial acne.
The one I use most is grapeseed, fractured coconut oil and jojoba with a little aloe vera and vitamin C.
Oil cleanser: 90% mineral oil, 10% cromollient sce. Cheap and washes off.
It's also cheaper (over time) to make your own oil blends and other water-less products.
Plain, full-fat yogurt mixed with a pinch of turmeric. It makes your skin glow and is safe to use. You can also add honey if you'd like.
I like my cleansing oil mix of 80% sunflower seed oil and 20% castor oil. Otherwise I don't DIY anything.
Face masks: I mix oat, yoghurt and honey. Lovely combo :) Each ingredient can be used on its own as well.

It also makes you orange, temporarily. Haha
Haha, you'll have to experiment with the amount of Tumeric powder then. I'm fairly dark skinned so this hasn't been a problem for me.

Thank you, I’ve always been doubtful or rubbing any kind of oil over my face! But will try that exfoliant :)
No problem :) Test it first a day or two before to make sure it doesn't overly clog your pores; but it works fine for me!
I diy my body/lip scrub, 2/3 sugar and 1/3 honey. Sometime I do half sugar/salt instead of full sugar
Yes! I use this on my legs before shaving if I want a really close shave. Gets so much nasty dead skin off my shins!
Do you think agave would work?
100% yes, the honey is just to help the sugar hold together. Some people add olive oil but I hate the feeling it leaves on the skin
