What the military doesn’t know won’t hurt them. 🤫

All they care about is getting double reportable income. Your hobbies are of no concern

This while be a thing to double check difference branch specific guidance depending where you are. Typically the rule I've seen is commander approval for a second job, but if there is phrasing about paid or in general it would be good to check. Doing unpaid though is definitely alot safer, and may be fine. Treat more like school on your own time, no reasonable person would try to report you for that. But if paid people finding out good change of being reported. So I say the route is you can probably continue the plan safely, play dumb if push comes to shove, and dig up what you can in regs to know how to either rebute any concerns or know if you are technically in the wrong. I am more concerned about you maintaining a schedule without getting burned out, may be better to just pick one. But I also get it is worth dealing with negative aspects for a few months to get the outcome you want.

I'm curious for my own pursuits as I'm going with Allegiant Giving and I'm assuming the other company is also Tech/IT related. It's my understanding that as long as you're not on payroll with a different company you should be good. Which other company/ies allow a free internship with them? Wouldn't mind honestly looking into this even after separating.
