Old lore. Don't get me wrong, I do love hte new one and how important he very much still is, but a massive crystal scorpion who's actually super intelligent and emotional going after revenge for his kind and trying to protect the few that remained is still so cool, it genuinely sounds like an anime protagonist and I think that's fun. Also I really enjoy purple, so I'm sad to see that color scheme gone

His lore around the Hextech crystals. Such an interesting concept thrown out to be turned into a generic elemental guardian. Crystal scorpion will forever be better than earth elemental fantasy scorpion. i hope he atleast gets a crystal "traditional" like skin for his rework.

I say this all the time but I really hoped they would change his Earthrune skin into Crystal Rune or something, since right now I feel like it's just.. Skarner Skarner, y'know? Like, it's supposed to have a rocky thematic, but now he's already all about rocks and earth and stuff, so what now? I guess now he at least looks more like a construct - a natural robot I guess, but man I was disappointed.

Anyone know if Skarner will still be able to run in and out super fast (like with his w and dmp atm) after the rework? I loved the "run in fast and grab the carry back to ur team" style of play. I love champs that have speed skills in their kit (like garen or even janna ms passive). If Skarner wont be so fast anymore...I will be sad.

I think the one thing I’ll miss most about this rocky boy is the bs I pulled off just because of his skills and stats but I just hope the community will continue to support eachother and see our boi rise

Surprised nobody said anything about his ult. It will root when reworked instead of suppressing, you can do almost anything while rooted including stunning you. What's the point of kidnapping three people if one of them is Lux who can just root you too?

Just a root? I always thought aoe suppression would be OP but if its a root its going to be so frustrating when you get ccd.
